Security is good (Gated area). Very close to center of Helen. Fun golf course. Much of resort & golf course was under maintenance. Condos spacious, clean. All outside water activities closed for season. Very quite & relaxing.

Stayed here in early September. Won’t stay here again. I was in unit 104. Very dated furniture and some had broken pieces. Pool was green with algae and tennis court was unusable. Mold on siding and trash on the ground by dumpster for 3 days. No one in office to notify. Landscaping has not been attended to in months. Hardly a resort.

Clean cabin, very dated. Do not expect new amenities. Could use new pillows for all beds, new dryer (makes loud noise) and updated stove. ||Roku tvs did not work to access Roku, but did have excellent wireless and Wally for cable!||No shampoo or conditioner in either bathroom!

I stayed at this property through RCI. The property was in need of some serious maintenance for better aesthetics. The pool was not functional, even if it had been the time of the year it could be. Tiles coming off the sides, e.g. The tennis court had weeds growing in it. The unit itself was dated and needed some updating. The kitchen was well stocked with useful dishes, cookware, small appliances, etc. The view from the back was awesome. I felt like I was in the treetops. It is conveniently located near Helen, GA (about a 10 minute ride or less). I was visiting the area to do waterfall hikes, and there are very many in the area (I saw 2-4 falls per day on short hikes).

When you are sitting in the unit, what you see is the tops of trees, giving the illusion of your being in a tree house. We found this gave a sense of privacy and serenity, and loved that about the unit. Our arrival was late, but the guard at the gate had our keys and the unit information, and we found it with no problem. ||The unit had ample space, except that the kitchen area was rather small. ||Having said this, the unit appears somewhat "tired" or "dated." The furniture and appliances appear older, the door to the master bath stuck, the latch to go out on the patio would not open correctly. Housekeeping was very responsive; maintenance not so much. We asked for someone to change a light bulb on the deck, but it was never done. After several days of waiting I fetched a screw driver from the car and did it myself. The latch and sticky door were never addressed, though we reported these the first full day there. The units themselves need significant improvement - the floors were not level, which I suspect accounts for the door problems. The kitchen was poorly designed - you could not open most of the drawers without first opening the over door because the door blocked the opening of the drawers. Sharp knives were not accessible from the kitchen area - you had to walk into the dining area to open the drawer containing the knives. Having said all this, we were comfortable there and felt totally secure. Staff was pleasant, and there were no major problems. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable; the twin beds upstairs not so much. I would not hesitate to return, and might recommend it with the noted reservations about maintenance issues, poor kitchen design, and the age of the unit and furnishings.

Very good location. Nice older resort. We had a large 2 Bedroom unit, both downstairs plus a loft with 2 twin beds. They definately need to upgrade the TV's. Not much to do at the resort. Nice pool area and golf course is close.

I have been coming here since I was a child. I love this place! Now I can take my own kids out in the woods around the golf course to find lost golf balls and come home with grocery sacks full! It is convenient to town and tubing most of all. It is getting to be outdated, some stuff probably needs upgrading like new mattresses/squeaky beds new carpet and laminate floors. The pool could use some restoring as far as the tile work. But what is there even if its worn out is still very clean and well kept. Y'all our condo still has the original washer and dryer, LOVE THEM! what I would give for them to still be made the way they were back then, they last forever.
