Hy-Vee has everything! I especially love that there are like 500 varieties of grapes, huge selection of premade foods for those of us that cannot cook at this time or ever, disproportionately huge shrimp cocktail platter, giant gumball, and in all seriousness chicken thighs for $1.88. That’s right. $1.88 a lb. Real food for $1.88 a lb! Who can afford to pass up deals like that in this economy. And a discount on gas? I’m with it.

First time ever in this location, although I have occasionally shopped at other Hy-Vee locations. I have had poor to average experiences at other locations and never an exceptionally good one. I should have drove the extra mile to go to Cub or even Aldi. I paid with cash, the poor older gentleman who rang me up seemed nervous to start with, then looked confused when trying to make change for $20. He shorted me a dollar. OK mistakes happen, but my read was it was his first day or something. Why I am giving such a low marks is because it took forever to get a manager over to override the register to refund me, then the it froze up and we all had to move to another line. A 5 minute stop turned nto a 15 minute frustration. On top of that the pizza selection was pitiful. Few healthy and no organic options.

What can I say best place to shop staff is always so happy an helpful. The only bad experience was yesterday when I went this young lady was promoting the family coffee honestly it tasted awful. She asked if I wanted to buy a bag, I said no then kept pushing me to, yeah not cool when someone says No don't keep harassing them I understand your a family business but honestly honey your coffee SUCKS.

Inconsistent produce options. Some cashiers aren't very friendly. If you go at night, there are either 0 or 1 cashiers working and you often have to do self checkout with a full cart of groceries. That being said, we still prefer Hy-Vee over Cub or Walmart, and it has a better selection than Target.

Great store with many options for its patrons. Prices are a bit higher than say at a Cub Foods. Customer Services is lacking.
Employees should be more knowledgeable and know where to direct you and if they can't help you find someone who can help.

They stopped selling my favorite magazine and suggested I order it in mail. I've done this in past and they rip easily. One manager said she'd get back to me about it and it's been a month and nothing. I guess I will just have to make an extra trip elsewhere. Woman's World is my favorite and they can't even tell me straight to my face that they stopped it but rather come up with excuses.

This Hy-Vee was very clean and well organized. First time coming in here and it's awesome to see many different types of restaurants inside. All the aisles were clean and all the items were super organized and clean. Employees are nice and helpful. Check out was quick. Parking is easy. The liquor store is easy to enter as well. Overall, a great place to buy groceries and grab something quick to eat.

We catered our wedding desert through hy-Vee. The communication was really easy and the set up was quick and affordable. They even delivered our deserts to our venue in town which saved us a lot of time. Highly recommend their catering.
