We stayed just one night before heading out to the Grand Canyon. The property is newer and very nice. We didn't know there was an $8/night fee to park in the lot or $11 charge for breakfast until we checked in. It's fine, just wish it would have been included beforehand. The two young ladies working the desk were super friendly and very helpful. When we realized our room was in the middle of a visiting college basketball team's rooms, they were quick to move us to another floor with no hesitation. (Please note, the team didn't do anything wrong, we just knew 20-somethings don't tend to keep the same hours as us old folks! lol)||The rooms are really large and clean. They're laid out like most Hyatt's. The floors are vinyl, though, not carpet, so sound does travel a little more. The doors are also big and heavy, so the slams are inevitable. Definitely wasn't an issue for us, but if you aren't expecting it then it can be a little surprising at first.||Overall it was a great stay and we'll definitely stay there again when in Flagstaff.

Clean and spacious room. I like how the window in the room can be open to get some fresh air. The worst part in this hotel is the breakfast. Im not sure if this hotel really wants to offer breakfast to its guests or if it's just for show. Guests were lined up in the buffet room, but most of the pots were empty. I managed to get a cup of oatmeal, which was the only food left, and took it to our room because there was no place to sit. I came back down within five minutes to get another cup for my son, but the pot was already empty. It was about 3/4 full and it was gone in just 5 minutes. Guests at that hour were lucky to get oatmeal since the staff never restocked the food. To make matters worse, they closed the buffet 10 minutes before the scheduled closing time. I overheard someone asked for more food, the staff simply said, "We ran out." This place is surrounded with restaurants. Go get breakfast somewhere else.

The hotel was clean and the room was incredible! I would skip the breakfast because everything that shouldve been hot was cold. The front desk staff was rude and pretty unhelpful. There was no forethought and no hospitality. I was traveling alone because my grandmother was in hospice and had days left to live. I drove and got to be there for her passing. On the way home i needed a night to rest grieving is a lot and so was the drive. I chose hyatt because im a member and have been for many years. I knew it was a safe building. The front desk tried to charge me for parking and then removed it but was sharp and short. They didnt tell me how to get to my room or where the elevator was. When i asked if it was a safe neighborhood to walk in because im from los angeles we always ask she responded i can tell rolled her eyes and said yeah youre fine. Ive never had this experience before and i hope it doesnt happen again.

Good location, about a 15 min walk into the downtown area. Room was really clean. Parking is $8/night. Have to pay for breakfast and what I saw was pretty small, not worth it in my opinion. My biggest complaint is that there was a strange vibration noise that seems really constant at all hours of the day. I was on the 1st floor so maybe its just road noise, some sort of rumbling, maybe the HVAC system. Definitely not the train because that noise was able to be identified. The mini fridge made its own noise. Wherever the noise is coming from it was pretty annoying. Almost sounded like a car revving their car over and over in the distance. Edit: don’t get a room next to the stairwell. The rumbling noise is the HVAC which appears to be in the stairwell. Opening the door to the stairs made it abundantly clear.

Although the location is a little tricky to get to when traffic is highest, overall my stay was great! There’s also a jack in the box within walking distance if you have a late night craving haha The Hyatt is really clean & has lots of great amenities. The service though is by far some of the most welcoming and more than accommodating. If you go you MUST meet or talk to Brooklyn she made my stay so much more enjoyable and was so professional and friendly. Great staycation with family spent here

As a Globalist who has stayed at hundreds of Hyatt Place properties over the years, this is by far the best one I’ve ever experienced. From the warm welcome at check-in to the stylish, modern rooms, everything was exceptional. The generous breakfast and excellent amenities exceeded expectations. I truly have no complaints. My family of four felt incredibly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Noah at the front desk is the epitome of who any guest wants when they check in to their hotel. We are frequent travelers of I-40 and book hotels just for the evening often while we drive back and forth from coast to coast. When our online reservation was giving us trouble, we decided to try our hand and stop by in person to book the room. Noah greeted me, acknowledged my issues, and provided me with all the useful information I needed before confirming my room. He was courteous, polite, and hospitable and I can’t say that for majority of the hotels we check into. I would leave a complete 5 star review, however, the beds could be more comfortable and the shower could use more water pressure.

The beds were good, and the room is roomy. The most disappointing part of this stay is having to pay for parking and breakfast. I didn't notice on the hotel ad that those amenities were not free. I felt it was sprung on me at check-in. Just charge me with the room cost. Hyatt, you can do better!
