I was looking for a breakfast spot and found this place on Google. The reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try.

The first thing I will say is it is an outdoor seating establishment, but it is an inclosed patio aree, and they have heat lamps to keep it warm when it's cold outside.

The second thing is that the menu is online, and you make your payment online. However, they do have an option to order at the counter, too.

I had the blueberry pancakes, cheese eggs, and turkey bacon. They brought out a warm bottle of syrup, too.

Blueberry pancakes were really good, and the blueberries were nice size. Cheese eggs were ok. They added the cheese to the top and prepared to add salt and pepper to them if you needed to. The turkey bacon tasted great. Overall, I had a great experience and service.

This is a very good place to have a meal. We visited for breakfast, which ended up being a good way to start the day. The food was good. The service was good. Duane "Huskey" greeted us and even offered us a sample of cheese grits while our food was being prepared. The dining area is covered, but he moved a heat lamp near out table. The eating area is a hybrid indoor outdoor area, which is nice and cozy. I ordered the Huskey slim omelette which was cooked to perfection and piping hot. It came with a side of fruit and potatoes. Duane and Korri made the dining experience special because they often visited the table to make sure we were good. I highly recommend you visit. We certainly will be back. I'm happy to know that there is a good eatery in the Eastlake area.

The banana pancakes did not miss and I like a crunchy edges but there were soft & delicious in addition, location settings is peaceful. Coffee is large but I only seen one price. For one person-$30 which you pay first so after you finish u just leave. I like to taste first before tip but next time I will bring cash. Interesting is that they serve beef sausage.

I’ve been here on three occasions. Nice atmosphere! It has a cabin-like feel and I love the bespoke, leaf ceiling fans. The food is good, not bad. My partner had the fish special and it was SO good. The honey-glazed croissant beignets were so yummy. Harlem chicken and waffles was okay, not the best. Shrimp n grits were cold but they did heat them up for me and it was good. It’s better as a side in my opinion. The blueberry pancake was thick and hard, not fluffy. You do have to go up to the counter to pay and order first. Fast service, you won’t wait long for your food. So if you’re not in the mood to dine in, doing takeout should be no problem.
Overall, I do really love this restaurant and will continue to eat here.

Initially really liked the vibe of the place and thought it was cool that you just scan to order and pay on your phone but quickly went downhill. This place is severely overpriced for what you get. Paid $13 for a kids meal + tip on top to not really have a server. They wouldn’t even give my friend (1) extra sauce to take with because “they don’t do refills”. It’s a .50 sauce. We would’ve paid it if they asked but didn’t want to go through the entire online order process for one 50 cent sauce and were already over it by then so we just left. Overall disappointed in our experience especially since we were excited we found a new place at first!

We had an awesome experience at Huskey's Kitchen. The omelet was perfect, the potatoes were crisp, the grits bowl was amazing and the pancakes were soft, fluffy and light while having a slight crispiness on the outside. Perfect!

Stop by Huskeys for lunch and boy oh boy it was the best food on our whole trip. The Rasta pasta was to die for. The texture, the seasonings the Alfredo sauce and the little kick that it had, was great. Also we tried the Jam Rock Omelette and that was great too. Perfect in taste and texture. The dishes were appealing to the eyes too. For desert we had the Creamy French Toast. Exquisitely decadent and delicious. A place to visit when you’re in town.

We try to patron black owned business. For the most part the experience is decent. Pricing seems a little overinflated . Here, the concept is unique. Order by scanning qr code. Maybe 8 total employees. The shrimp and grits are good. The owner was very nice.
