Extremely fresh and delicious raw oysters!!!! Prosciutto wrapped cheese stuffed dates were out of this world. If we lived in the area we would be regulars for sure. There was only one guy working at the time and he handled the rush of people that all came in after us well.

I was travelling from sf bay to Brookings, thought hog island have the freshest oyster ever until I have oyster here.
Pretty sweet and refreshing, the service was great and the sauces are amazing. Must try in Humboldt Bay ✅ 💯

Stopping in Hereford a late lunch was absolutely amazing. The oysters are top notch and I gobbled them down quickly. The guys working were full of fascinating information. I also left with a bottle of local win I’m just dying to try out. I recommend stopping in here!

Two dozen locally grown oysters with a choice of 8+ different sauces for <$30. Large indoor seating area, tables outside as well. Our only disappointment was missing out on our favorite cider because it was on the menu but not on tap.

Oyster bar is superb, the goat cheese is so tasty... the different sauces complement the oysters raw or broiled... this was an incredible experience....

Have come here a few times for oysters and a bottle of wine or two with friends. If you were to just walk in off the street it might seem like a nice place, albeit pricy. Though they have gone full-on "anti-woke". Needless to say I do not feel welcome somewhere, and will not bring my family somewhere that explicitly seeks out and advertises their "traditional family values" certifications. Much better to enjoy our delicious local oysters anywhere else and enjoy a bottle of wine in an inclusive environment.
