We only visited from the cabins for services using the indoor pool, game room and lounge. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels and chairs. We had a lot of fun in the game room winning prizes, competing with one another and just whooping it up. I sat in the lounge with a pour of bourbon while waiting on our pizza. It was good conversation and the pizza was delicious.

My husband and I took our 7 and 9 year old grandsons on vacation for four nights during their spring break. We got lucky with great camping weather and spent hours gathering and chopping firewood and had a nearly constant fire going. The cabin was roomy and had all the amenities we needed and then some and so luch outdoor space. We hiked, biked, swam, played basketball, and visited the arcade room. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. It was the perfect trip for all of us.

We never left the lodge it was very relaxing. Ate most of her meals at the bar in the evening. Had some friends come in from Oxford and they had dinner with us there also and we're very pleased. We stayed in the suite for 3 days and it was awesome

We head up a group of seniors from our church for a retreat at Houston Woods every year nor for five years. They have always catered to us and met our needs. No problems and no issues just accommodations that fit our budget perfectly.

Heuston Woods is a wonderful place to bring your family. The Nature Center, Lake, and trails make you feel that you are in a lovely wilderness area even though you are within an easy drive of shopping and other entertainment.

We hiked and went disc golfing today and after a snowy, cold, outdoor winter session decided to grab a bite to eat and a brew at the lodge bar. We sat by the beautiful, warm and cozy fireplace before heading in and ordering THE BEST pizza we have EVER had in our lives. I’m not exaggerating when I say that their supreme was mind-blowingly delicious! I’d make the 30 minute drive again just to get that pizza, with their Cold Snap Sam Adams on tap. Judy was our bartender and she was phenomenal! Worked her tail off! Great ambiance and wonderful company. All around fantastic experience and great way to kick off the weekend. Highly recommend!

Environment; amazing, awesome, very festive & beautifully decorated. |Staff; most are about themselves,& not about assisting in making sure that the visitors visit is an enjoyable experience, especially the lady working in gift shop, not a word to anyone entering, just @ checkout, then you felt like you were bothering her, for her to have to get up & perform her job duties.|Arcade room prices were a little on the high side, but seemed like kids were having fun. |Fireplace area was very relaxing, and enjoyable, as was the bar area.

Need a new mattress. I understand some have been ordered. Staff was wonderful! Other guests not so aware of common courtesy like the use of inside voices inside the room section of the lodge
