Our family absolutely loved this place. It was our favorite thing about the week we spent seeing Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It's grand, beautiful, quiet, and cozy. Everyone was very friendly. We were there with our three middle school aged kids and my husband's elderly parents. They had found the place through an Elder Hostel directory, I believe. The hotel staff drove us in a van, down a rugged dirt road, down to the Colorado River one day, because my Father in-law couldn't walk very far. He had Parkinson's. Anyway, that was super kind of the staff, and they waited an hour while we picnicked and dipped our feet in. So sweet! They also gave us many excellent recommendations for cool and unusual things to do (that didn't require extreme fitness). We all wished that we had spent the entire eight nights there, instead of just three! Awesome place. At the time I had never stayed overnight on a dry reservation, or even spent much time with Indigenous Americans at all yet. Amazing! And so wonderful for our whole family! That was in 2004. I was just looking it up to see if it's still there, because I want to go back! βΊοΈ Thank you for a delightfully perfect, generous, beautiful, and unusual experience.

Based on other reviews (and after hiking check in at Grand Caverns Inn), I had low expectations for Hualapai Lodge. I was actually pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and our room had a refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig machine. I was not expecting a coffee maker and was very happy I could have a cup of coffee early in the morning since the restaurant would be not be open yet when we were planning to head out for our hike. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner bec we had a late lunch at Mr. D's on 66 in Kingman - which I highly recommend if you are heading out that way.

We stayed here before and after havasupai hiking in rooms 129 and 123. We did not hear the train noise much as mentioned in other reviews. We also tried playing white noise on phone to not get disturbed by noises around us but to be honest , it was pretty quite the week of Thanksgiving. Rooms are nicely appointed with microwave, fridge, coffee machine and toiletries. Towels were plenty. Restaurant is ok, gift shop has essentials. Front desk stored our luggage for $25/Night in a secure room. One of us forgot our apple earpods, and the staff was kind to mail it back to us. Gas station is actoss the street, so is a general store.Highly recommend this place

The rooms are large with comfy beds. The pool was heated and the hot tub large and really warm, perfect after a day on the trails. |There is a restaurant onsite and a shop over the road. We weren't very impressed with the service in the restaurant but the food tasted good. |The one negative is the train noise, not just rumbling but sounding their horns as they go through the level crossing all night. This could really bother some people.|

Consumer Beware. This hotel is not at all what is is represented to be online. When I booked this room I made it clear I would be going to the Sky Bridge and coming in after a very long drive. The website states they have restaurant on site. Upon arrival the hotel did not impress. At front desk I was greeted by a large container of ear plugs, apparently for the highway and train noises, and a receptionist who spoke in a near whisper. I expressed dissatisfaction and asked to not check in. At that time I was told I must check in but could turn around and check out right away which made no sense. I was told I could eat at the restaurant and use the facilities. Exhausted and hungry from a long travel day I checked in, went upstairs to drop my bag and came right down to eat at the restaurant. At the restaurant there were several employees running around and customers seated with no food in front of them. After about 10 minutes one of the employees came up and said they could not seat me as they were too busy. This is the only place to eat in the hotel and nearby area. Back to the front desk I went to let the receptionist know they would not serve me. She says they are not affiliated with the restaurant and I could drive into Kingman to eat and come back. That is an hour away. I again stated my dissatisfaction with the hotel and facilities and stated I wanted to leave and not be charged. At that point I was told that couldn't happen because I had used the room. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told no-one was there. I asked her to call someone which she finally did. The decision from supervisor was that I need to ask the Tribal Counsel for a refund as they would charge my card. I have never received this kind of hassle from any hotel. Save yourself the headache and stay in Kingman or Flagstaff. There is nothing close by anyway.

Perfect location for a trip to Havasupai. We stayed the night before our 4-day adventure and it was fantastic. Cozy place with a great cafe for home-cooked meals. The service was excellent and the food was equal. Highly recommend for all travelers.

Great place to stay in between West and South Rim. Clean and quiet rooms. Generous food portions in the restaurant. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended if you plan to see different areas of Grand Canyon and the surrounding vicinity. Support Indigenous tribal businesses!

Not the best value hotel, but there isnβt much competition around.||Room was a bit dated, but clean and everything worked. Staff were polite if not very friendly.||Freight trains pass every half an hour pretty much 24/7 - they do provide earplugs.
