We absolutely loved our week-long stay at Hoyt House on Amelia Island. Innkeepers, Lindy and David were friendly and informative about activities, restaurants, etc. on the island. The B&B felt like home with its themed rooms that were comfortable and cozy, and beautifully appointed! Homemade breakfasts were OUTSTANDING and served on lovely china in the home's dining room. Cloth tablecloths, and napkins, tables set with fresh flowers gave a welcoming ambiance. Coffee and tea available 24/7 and homemade cookies were a treat. Happy hour from 4-5pm was a great way to meet other guests and share the day with our hosts. There is a pool and hot tub and the grounds have Heritage trees dripping with Spanish moss which adds to the charm of the Victorian home with its expansive front porch. The Inn is centrally located in the historic district of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the B&B. What a GRAND historic Inn! We will be visiting again!

We had a delightful stay at the Hoyt House. The new owners, Lindy and David, were terrific hosts. They did whatever they could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The place was clean. They accommodated my gluten-free diet with delicious GF options. We enjoyed everything about our stay including the location. This is a spectacular place to stay. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfasts were all superb. The owners, Jamie and Todd, are very attentive to their guests and they’re there to answer any questions you might have. The cookies at the front desk are incredible. They also have free bikes for you to use and it’s just 1 mile to the beach and an easy ride. The location is great and you can walk to everything. They always give you a list of restaurants they recommend and we’ve eaten at around 10 of these and all of them are great choices. You can’t go wrong in staying here.

Staying at the Hoyt House was an amazing experience. The architecture throughout this 120 year old house was remarkably detailed and each room had so much to enjoy and absorb. We were fascinated by all the individual history packed in this one place. The staff were very pleasant and personable during our stay which made for a really cozy experience. The freshly prepared morning breakfast that they served was really good as well and it was much better than the traditional continental breakfast served by a near by B & B on a previous trip to this area. The Hoyt House is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants so there is plenty to keep you busy during your stay.
You’ll love it as we did. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband surprised me a trip to my favorite island. Based on reviews my husband picked the Hoyt Inn, the Owner ship was new but you would never know it, they never miss a beat. The breakfast was wonderful. We stay in honeymoon suite. They catered to everything for my birthday. Fresh flowers | With birthday cake, and chocolate covered strawberries. Every detail of the Inn was amazing. My husband and I felt like we were staying with good friends. Love sitting on the front porch and watching as people walked by. This will be our new home base whenever we come to Amelia Island.

It was a very enjoyable weekend there. Everything was thought of and provided for us. The owners were fantastic. I’ve been going to Fernandina for about 20 years now and never even knew that place was there and now I would definitely return. Comfortable enjoyable weekend getaway for me and my wife. Breakfast in the morning was great and happy hour as well. We really enjoyed using the bikes that were provided for us.
