Food is too spicy. The bathroom floor was dirty and the grout has never been cleaned. The front desk employees are rude and don't care if you come back. You can stay at a much cleaner hotel with much nicer employees for 1/3 the price.

Such a beautiful hotel and horrible house keeping!! We stayed there for 3 nights after driving in from Texas for my son’s Army turning green ceremony. When we checked in the room we noticed wet dirty towels in the restroom stained sheets and pillows. When we brought this to the attention of the house keeper she became upset and irritated. She tried to blame it on us and say we did it. After speaking with Steve the manager he was awesome and tried his best. Unfortunately housekeeping never got any better for the rest of the time we were there. There were large trash bags left in the hallways of the hotel, you have to walk around. We ordered over $70 worth of door dash one day just for house keeping to throw it away. When we asked them they just said they didn’t know who did it and walked away leaving us with no answers just a picture of the food in front of our Hotel door. Tay and Hunter the rooftop bartenders are awesome. I would recommend a different hotel if you prefer fresh and clean rooms. By the way I paid for 2 river view rooms. Both rooms were dirty!!

The hotel was beautiful the location is perfect, but I paid almost $300 for a relaxing day with beautiful views, in which I didn’t get a chance to enjoy. There was a couch by the window, with pet hair on it. So not only did the chair block my path to the window, I couldn’t sit on it either. The rooftop lounge had an amazing view no one came to serve us, so that was short lived and I didn’t get to enjoy that. The staff was amazing, but it took a very long time to get our food at the denim and oak restaurant, the food was great the drinks were amazing, but a little pricey. Honestly if it had not been for the staff, I would have found another hotel immediately, I wasted money on views.

My stay at this hotel was one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had. I was in town to attend my boyfriend’s airborne graduation and found myself alone quite a bit, waiting for him to finish work. Sol, one of the bartenders in the lobby, quickly befriended me and made my stay in Columbus feel so special. She had the most positively infectious attutude which I admire as a server at a hotel bar myself. I highly recommend you grab a drink or bite to eat because the staff at this hotel are truly incredible. Sol and her coworker Mercedes have great service, and I’m excited to visit again in the future.

The customer service is unparalleled. From the Valet to the cleaning crew everyone smiles and is helpful. The process from check-in to check-out is smooth and pleasant. The rooms are nicely appointed, with a nod to the Columbus community, and comfortable. The ONLY draw back to the room is the barn door for the bathroom, this is always a terrible idea. Being on the river provides pretty views from the pool, restaurant and bar (and if you’re lucky your room) and access to the river walk is a great perk. We stay here every time we come to Columbus.

My stay was very disappointing. I specifically selected this hotel over other hotels in Columbus because they list they have a heated outdoor pool. This feature was so important to me and my family members that I was willing to pay the almost $300 night and the valet parking of $12 a day. Well, the pool was not heated. Same cold water as any other outdoor pool. Multiple requests up to the maintenance manager to heat the pool was denied. Another disappointment was the rooms do NOT have smart tvs. Just basic cable with no availability to stream Netflix, Prime videos, etc. So to get around this, we had to screen cast from our phone to the tv. What hotel does not have smart apps for screening On the positive side, the day supervisor was helpful, the desk staff was nice but needs training in problem solving customer issues and offering solutions other than just saying no or I don't know, the hotel building is relatively new and the valet guys were awesome. Needless to say, I cut my stay short and will not stay here in the future. This is not what I expect from a 4 star hotel.

I booked a room for two nights for myself and was extremely excited to stay at Indigo after having a fabulous dining experience at Denim and Oak. I asked for early check in which they mentioned they could not accommodate due to being booked the night before. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind in explaining the situation and even gave me a free drink voucher for my patience. I went back to check in at 3:00 (check in time) and the cleaners were running behind so I continued to wait and finally got checked in 30 minutes later. The staff was very kind and gracious on how they handled everything but then it came to my second day being there and things took a bit of a turn.

On Sunday (8/4) I went out for a day on the town from around 12:30PM-6:45PM and when I arrived back to my room, I noticed a few items missing-they were three food items I had purchased to keep in my room for when I got back and possibly one of my skin care products. I saw the cleaners had been there to refresh towels. I looked high and low for the few items and with me being the only one staying there, this left the cleaners to be responsible for taking my items. They were not high value items but this made me feel extremely vulnerable and made me double check the rest of my items I left in the room. When I called the front desk to report it, the response was “I don’t really know what to do about that.” I personally work in customer service and understand that there is nothing that can be done to a certain degree but after spending around $600 on the hotel, food and drinks, I would hope I would receive some money back off the room for this instance. I appreciate the front desk and wait staff who was very professional outside of that situation but for this reason alone, I will never be booking at this hotel again. Be very careful if you leave valuable items out while you are away as the cleaning staff could very well take it!!

I really love this hotel! I only make reservations to this establishment when I visit the area. And, I am very picky as an avid traveler. Steven M., the Front Desk Manager, is always friendly, patient, knowledgeable, customer oriented, respectful, and professional. It speaks volumes that he remembers my face and name during each visit. Staff at the downstairs dining area (i.e. Ronnie), rooftop area, and valet department are doing an excellent job considering that the hospitality management industry is very, very, very challenging. The food and drinks are very good. The rooms are cozy, contemporary, classy, clean, quiet, and safe even when there are major events taking place at the hotel. It is like being “home away from home.” I really like that it is centrally located in the downtown Columbus area and close to the river. I recommend this gorgeous hotel to anyone who wants a first class experience.
