Our stay was great from beginning to end. The staff was warm and welcoming when we first arrived. Very easy, and quick, check-in. We stayed in a suite and the size was perfect. The double bathrooms made it very easy for the 5 of us to get ready. We had a problem with our thermostat and told the front desk. The immediately sent someone to fix it. The hotel and rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. This was the 3rd time we stayed here and will be back again when we visit JCU.

The hotel was very affordable for what I received. Excellent staff and very clean and comfortable room. The room was very clean and well stocked of towels. The bathroom had some extra amenities like body soap, shampoo, and mouth wash. The mini fridge was a good size and cold when I arrived. A staff member went out of their way very early in the morning to get ice from the kitchen for my Stanley. The ice machines were making ice and not ready for use so this was such a kind and helpful thing.

We were put in a room with a foul smell. Initially, we thought it would be temporary so stepped out a while to go on with our day. We got back late and it became clear there is a sewage smell in the entire area of rooms that we were placed in. It was foul to be in there for more than 10 minutes.

Outside of the sewage smell, the hotel was poor for the price. It was more of a slightly up-branded motel. The entrance is nice, but it quickly goes downhill from there. The rooms have random furniture, half of the things are broken (such as our light), the bed had stains, and the stairwell had puddles of water.

We checked out ~5 hours after checking in. As it was late and we had a few hour drive ahead of us, I didn't want to argue with the front desk about a refund and certainly didn't want a room swap to only encounter the same issues.

I called corporate and was offered absolutely no refund. I had a 10 minute call that went nowhere, despite the information provided above, only that they could give me IHG reward points, as if I want to go to another hotel of theirs.

Look anywhere else if you plan to stay in the area.

Altjhough my first room was not made up (not the front desk's fault), I was upgraded to a two-room suite which was quite nice. The property has a modern vibe, and the morning breakfast was excellent. I would stay there again if I were in the area.

Overall good experience. Basic hotel experience with no frills. Good price and right off interstate next to a restaurant and other hotels. Shopping is down the street (Target, TJ Maxx and Trader Joes). Convenience store and computer in lobby. No outlets near bed for charging a phone. Free parking. My only problem was the cleaning staff knocked hard on all doors before check out time. I had a do not disturb sign on my door and the yelled they just wanted to know if I needed a towel.

My room was fantastic but more importantly, the experience I had as a part of a film that needed a location was wonderful! Deanna is a Rock Star! She called Mike to get permission for us to film a short for a competition and they were so kind and accommodating! We are so grateful that we were able to film for 3 hours. The facility itself is beautiful and clean; my room was quiet and this was my second stay here in Beachwood at this hotel. 10+ stars for the hotel, accommodations and Deanna and Mike!

This is a nice hotel with exceptional customer service. I signed up for ihg rewards and got free late check out and a free breakfast for my husband and I. It could use a few updates but the experience was positive and the rooms are nice. Would stay again.

The room we were assigned to smelled like sewage so bad that we ended up driving back home and not staying there. The light fixture was messed up, the sheets were stained, and there was unclean water in the stairwell.

The entrance was nice, but other than that, it looks more like a motel than a nice hotel. The hallways look bad, the rooms are generally poor, and would say to avoid this hotel.
