I normally never write reviews for hotels because usually they are fine. But Hotel Congress was so unbelievably poor I had to. First the rooms. They are extremely dirty and not well maintained. The bathrooms are extremely small and the water in both the sink and the shower do not drain properly. The AC didnโ€™t work in the room when we arrived and we had to ask multiple times for someone to take a look at it. Second the noise. They have a club right underneath the rooms which plays loud music every night, so loud that the bass is shaking the entire room until 2 am. The funniest part is that there was absolutely no one in the club so they were literally playing the music for no reason. The only positive I saw from this place was the location but would much rather of stayed somewhere far away than have to deal with this hotel ever again. Please try to avoid if possible or request a non โ€œClub Roomโ€ (not sure how much of a difference itโ€™ll make).

If you're looking for a hotel that's steeped in history and character, look no further than the Hotel Congress! The friendly staff made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay, which added to the overall charm.
We happened to be there during Dillinger Day, which was a unique experience. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and the event added an extra layer of intrigue to our visit. The rooms are a perfect blend of Southwest charm and comfort.

Just a heads up: the hotel's central location means you'll hear some street noise from nearby clubs and college students, especially on weekends. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're a nostalgia lover or young at heart and want to be in the center of the action, the Hotel Congress is the perfect choice!

An interesting history, the concierge will tell you about the ghosts. I recommend the garden room and ear plugs. It does get loud with the jazz club, however you're warned ahead of time. The room was very trendy but small and beautiful and comfortable with the 20s charm. Very dog friendly. My biggest complaint is no elevator. The stairs are a bit difficult and I'm young and in shape, don't think they are ADA accessible. The desk staff is very friendly and kind and the restaurant on site is tasty.

This hotel is a NIGHT CLUB and the front desk will warn you but don't underestimate how loud it can be Thur-Sun. The music does bump throughout the entire hotel so it's not recommended to stay here if you have to go to sleep early/wake up early. Otherwise, this is a charming place to stay in Tucson. The staff do a great job making you feel welcome. The Century Lounge is really intimate and fun and the Cup Cafe is delicious. Parking is tricky and the bathrooms are very old but if you like to stay in historic places, this is the quirkiest hotel in Tucson.

Noah at the bar made this place 5 stars for me. I wandered in on a weekday during lunch after just arriving in Tucson. Noah gave me the full rundown on the history of the hotel and the town and all the things I need to do and see. I came in for one drink and stayed for more because I was having such a great time and learning all about Tucson. Thank you Noah!

Overall I love the little concerts they have inside and outside for the most part I really like hotel congress. But the bartender that looks like she's a biker gang leaders wife, she always skips me if I don't say what drink I want in 2 seconds. Someone her age should be sewing or knitting not being jealous of someone young who isn't an alcoholic that doesnt have her drink memorized. She might be an acholic tho.

We stopped at Hotel Congress for brunch after being picked up from the airport. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. The food was amazing. Hotel Congress is rich in history, such as Delingers capture. It is a fabulous, authentic early 1900s build. Great place to visit and eat.
