Very cool decor and atmosphere. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool as the weather was terrible — and there seemed to be a private event but a well thought out area and vibe. The employees were kind and helpful and the pastry breakfast/coffee was very good and accessible. Perfect location across from the park and easily walkable to everywhere. We also decided to street park which was very easy to find. There were two cute dog beds/bowls and poop bags for our dogs upon arrival. Very cute.

Would say it’s overpriced for what it is… Our junior suite “with a sitting area” was very small. The sitting area was a chair with a lamp. The resort fees add up so be mindful of those when booking. For such high prices I would expect more but overall it was a positive experience!

I had the most wonderful stay at Bardo! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Elizabeth at check-in was warm and welcoming, making the process seamless and ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

I had the pleasure of being served by Riddhi at Bar Bibi, and she was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to detail, kindness, and recommendations made the experience truly special.

Henry at valet was also amazing—so friendly and efficient, always greeting me with a smile and making sure my car was ready in no time.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with great amenities and an overall relaxing atmosphere. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch stay!

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights in March (my third visit to Bardo) and just had the best time. Savannah is super special to us, and this hotel is gorgeous and in the best location ever. It truly makes a difference to stay somewhere so lovely, especially when you've left the comforts of home. We also had exceptional service one night from Amber (hope I got her name right- beautiful French accent!) and Emily who brought us our room service. They are gems, and it meant so much to us!

We had the most wonderful stay and Sarah Grace was a beyond gracious and attentive helper for all our needs. We felt like family and we cannot wait to come back. Loved our terrace apartment- it was clean, spacious and had the cutest design and details.

It did take time and calling but ultimately, was offered a refund for the night stay by one of the managers. I appreciated them making amends, the change in the service score and hotel experience reflects that. Its a beautiful hotel, I hope that they carry forward a commitment to excellent service!

This rating reflects that the level of service at this hotel is many levels below the price they ask guest to pay. We had a specific issue in which our room was right next to the electrical closet and at 7:30 AM loud hammering, drilling and work woke us up. I thought it might be just a few minutes so let it ride at first but it persisted. I went and spoke with management, first they didn’t know the work was even happening, they let me know it’s against their standard policy to start any work before 10:30 because they want to avoid waking guest up. They said they would ask them to stop the work but I went up to the room at the work CONTINUED for another hour. At checkout I brought up the issue again to see if they would offer any compensation, they essentially deducted $84 from our price which is insultingly low for a hotel that cost >$500 a night. I asked if they would could a higher comp and they told me they would discuss with their manager (who I already had spoken to and who said she would take care of it) and call me back. 5 days later no call back, I’ve sent a follow up email and called several times and either been ghosted or just told they would call me back when the “manager” was back and that call has never happened. I even asked in the email if they could just let me know if they had no intention to resolve the issue so I could stop thinking about and let them know I wanted to give them a chance to rectify the issue before leaving a review because I didn’t want to leave a bad review

This is not a hotel interested in justifying the price they ask with excellent service. There are plenty of very nice hotels in Savannah that know how to offer really excellent guest service. Don’t waste your money and time at this hotel

We were there for a quick overnight stay and had a wonderful relaxing time.
Vargas was so welcoming and gave us a tour of the pool area and Bar Bibi!
We ate dinner at Saint Bibiana where Daniel took excellent care of us!
My partner love the spa facial and scalp massage!
We will definitely return for a longer visit.

Our experience at this 5-star hotel was absolutely phenomenal! The corner suite was stunning—spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. Every detail made it feel luxurious.

The front desk associates truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Megan Reilly (who we randomly met in the parking lot!)—she was incredibly kind and took the time to share family-friendly recommendations and must-dos in Savannah. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made our trip even more enjoyable.

The food at the hotel was amazing, offering a wide range of delicious options that exceeded our expectations. The pool was another highlight—perfectly maintained and a great spot for the whole family to relax.

We loved our stay at Hotel Bardo. The staff was wonderful! Grace at the front desk and Damien, the bartender at the pool took wonderful care of us. The hostess and Anna, our server at the restaurant on sight, Saint Bibiana also took excellent care of us. We would definitely return to this lovely, elegant hotel in the heart of Savannah.
