Service was very pleasant. Room was clean and very nice. Location was great. Plenty to eat within walking distance (nextdoor) and shopping was next building across the street. Only knock was the shower didn't drain very well. I was standing in a few inches of water by the end of a shower. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay and will come back.

First of all once we checked in, we noticed there were real china cups available for morning coffee/breakfast. It gets better, when entering our room, there were china plates, cups, glasses and utensils plus a full size fridge/freezer, microwave and a dishwasher! Of course the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

We had a great stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Troy. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family of five. The breakfast options were fantastic, which was a great way to start the day.

However, there were a couple of small inconveniences. The hot water took over a minute to reach the faucet, which was a bit frustrating, and the shampoo in the shower was empty. If these minor issues weren’t present, this would have been an easy 5/5 stay.

That said, the accommodations were excellent, and the location is convenient, with both Texas Roadhouse and Outback Steakhouse nearby. If you’re in Troy, OH, I highly recommend staying here!

I’m really disappointed. I stay at this location for work whenever I’m in town, but my experience last night was unacceptable. I arrived late, around 11 PM, and found a cockroach in the bathroom of my room. The staff was surprised and promptly moved me to another room on a different floor, which I appreciate. However, where there’s one cockroach, there are usually more. This experience has made me question the cleanliness of the hotel.

So it began with being put into a room that was already given to a different guest, despite me having chosen this room during my contactless check in. I only found out when trying to hook up to WIFI. We were told to move to a different room and received apologies and the offer of complimentary items from the marketplace. The majority of the stay was uneventful, until I looked over my billing. I saw that not only was I charged for the "complimentary" items at the marketplace but was also charged a fee for my service animal. Now I stay in Hilton hotels no less than 10 days monthly, my service dog goes everywhere with me, never in all those stays have I ever been charged a fee, which is illegal! Figuring it was a mistake I called my diamond membership representative to fix. Instead of doing the right thing and crediting my account for the erroneous charge, I instead got the ramblings of a dishonest manager who just decided she would refuse and claim nobody knew the dog was there, I didn't fill out paperwork or some other nonsense. God forbid you just admitted your error and fixed it. Everyone in that hotel met my service animal, they all knew she was there, and if they didn't, how did you come to charge me for it. Being as it is not clear to Hilton staff, I will inform you of the LAW. No, I don't have to fill out paperwork or inform you of my service animal. If they had a question, they could have asked the 2 questions they are allowed by law to ask. 1. Is it a service animal and 2. what is it trained to do. She does not need an uncomfortable vest or paperwork. Do better Hilton, your management here is rude, uninformed and dishonest. There are far better hotels to stay at where you won't be treated so poorly. Instead of asking like a normal human being, you decided you would judge for yourself and then go out of your way to excuse your piss poor decision making. Very possible you dont belong in the service industry.

This is the best hotel to stay at! Friendly staff, Clean housekeepers, available pool and gym and large variety of breakfast!
There are many different rooms but without a doubt every room is large and quiet. Nice bedding and clean rooms.

I have been using this property for some time now, always enjoying my stay due to the excellent customer service provided by the night manager. I will never use this property again due to the absolutely rude and zero lack of empathy by Brianna, and Stephanie, whose titles I do not know. My mother is in a nursing home a few miles from this property, we live in FL, and as has often been the case, travel up there knowing she is close to death.. My wife in haste, made a reservation for over $850 dollars, and did not read the fine print. Of course we expected it’s non-refundable, and knew that. What was not clear is if the dates change, the franchise owner of this property keeps every penny, and there is no opportunity to use the money as credit if the date changes. Outright theft, and pretty much the attitude of Stephanie and Brianna is tough luck. We have stayed at every one of the properties within a half mile of this one, and they meet or exceed my expectations.
A cancellation policy is meant to protect both parties, it is not to effect theft, which occurred in this case. Do not use the AARP discount, and if you do, you are stuck, and do not expect the franchise owner of this property to do the right thing.
