I recently stayed at this location my room and the hotel was very clean. Location is great and staff was friendly. There was a black gentleman that was cleaning/taking out trash etc that was so polite he needs to be at the front desk. I wish I knew his name. The only problem I got locked out of my room for a hour. The front desk agent tried several times to get the door open with no luck the general manager was called and he opened the door within minutes. Please just make sure all staff members are trained to unlock the doors because waiting a hour is extremely to long. Although that happened I would still stay at this location

Just okay. The location was convenient and felt safe. Our room was less than ideal. The AC smelled mildewy, the couch and desk chair were stained, the shower definitely needed a deep clean, and under the beds needs a vacuuming. There's a very loud vibrating/buzzing sound that happens periodically. Overall, I'm glad to only be traveling through & not staying for more than a night.

Everything about this hotel is great but the reason for my review is Christopher! This young man and his actions are what customer service truly looks like. He is patient, kind and makes a great pot of coffee! I went down for a cup and the coffee in the pot was not too hot. He immediately jumped into action and made another pot and it was delicious. We had a great conversation while waiting and his passion for the job and the company was very evident. Whatever pool Hilton dipped in to find Christopher, they need to dip into it each time when finding great talent. Thank you Christopher for making my stay amazing. Just to be clear, it is now 8:23pm on 11/21 and Christopher is on duty now.

The room was very large with all kitchen things included and plenty of cabinets. It was a nice and quiet place to sleep. Breakfast was quite adequate.||Things that could see improvement....sofa in the room seemed a bit old and not clean.|Water pressure was very weak in the shower and sinks.

We are Hilton Honors members and found this was one of the best! Clean, comfortable,large bright rooms. Wonderful, friendly reception and service staff. Even had a cozy, outdoor fire pit! Gym facilities looked great too. We thought it was a brand new hotel, but found that was built in @ 2017. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Home 2 Suites used to be our favorite hotel in Auburn Opelika. The rooms are dirty, beds are old and lumpy, breakfast quality has gone down, and they use Styrofoam plates instead of actual plates. You'd be better off staying at the Motel 6 or something cheap.
