The bed was so comfortable! The room was clean and has everything in it that you would ever need. They use the best soap and shampoo. The breakfast was good as well.
The front staff could be a little more friendly and have some manners and not eat with their mouth open when checking people in. That was gross.

Fine, comfortable stay. Right off the Turnpike. Typical Home2 (in a good way), well maintained & cleaned. If H2s are a brand you like, this is a good one. Nice seating area, nice big TV, kitchenette. Plenty of mediocre chain food options within a mile. We tend to stay in this area a lot….coming or going somewhere else. This will become our default hotel, if it maintains.

Basic hotel with exactly what you need. We stayed the night here both ways to MN from DC. The rooms are clean, fairly spacious with a good size fridge and a dishwasher. We rolled in late, we were able to eat in our room start the dishwasher and get ready for the next leg of our drive. The breakfast was much better than others and the coffee was good. What more do you need?

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

I had a very disappointing experience at this establishment. As a person of color, I did not feel welcomed or treated with respect. The receptionist was extremely rude, gawked at us when we first arrived, very dismissive, and unaccommodating. Additionally, the business misrepresented its deposit policy on the website, which added to the frustration. I would strongly advise others, especially people of color, to take their business elsewhere. I will not be returning to this establishment ever.

Decent stay, seems to have improved over the past few years when I last stayed. Clean, quiet, fast internet, decent breakfast selection, friendly and courteous staff during my stay. Close to I-80 if you are traveling through Ohio. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.

Location was off in the cuts, but everything else was right on. We had a very clean and comfortable rooms! Front desk Mish was great at checking us in and getting us to our rooms as quickly as possible after a long day of travel. We will be back!!!

We stay in Maumee 4-5 times a year because it's the midway point of a family journey. In the past we have stayed at the Holiday Inn and at the Hampton Inn. We favor Hilton properties for the loyalty points. The Home2 is the best maintained and cleanest Hilton property in the vicinity with the best breakfast. It is slightly more expensive than the Hampton down the street, but that older property is sadly not what it used to be. The Home2 doesn't have a hot tub, but the pool and gym are nice. It's very close to Saba's, a local restaurant in the Holiday Inn that we love. So now the Home2 is our home away from home when we stay in Maumee. Comfortable and clean and it has everything you need.

I’m writing this while sitting at a dc fast charger. I saw on Hilton’s website that this hotel has ev chargers. I do not own a Tesla, so I called the hotel before booking to confirm what type of ev chargers were on site. I specifically asked if the chargers were Tesla chargers. I was told no and any ev could use them. The chargers at this hotel are in fact Tesla chargers. If you don’t drive a Tesla or have a Tesla adapter you will not be able to charge. Would not have booked this hotel if the front desk knew what chargers they had. Don’t make the same mistake as me.
