This hotel was one of the better experiences that we have had. The proximity to the river was an added bonus. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay as this location in the future!

My stay in Decatur was for three weeks in May of 2024. I was there on business and the hotel was a welcoming sight after my long day. Manager Evelyn runs a tight ship and us travelers benefit greatly as a result of this. The hotel is SO. clean and it smells so good from the lobby, on the elevator, and onto your room. The only negative was that I moved to the the 3rd floor my last week and was not as clean smelling but was still a positive experience. The staff is so PROFESSIONAL, want to give huge shout outs to Mr. Kenny and Ms. Shea. You get into trouble when you list names and I cant find the name of the woman who keeps the entire hotel pristine. I did tell her directly when I was there ,so I hope that I am forgiven for not recalling her name. Shout out also to the housekeeping staff , The free snacks and fruit daily was a plus! The breakfast was above board for a free breakfast. Felt very safe in that hotel and kudos to Mr. Kenny for saying that he will do everything he can to keep us safe during the bad weather that came through there one week. Very accommodating for a government employee who had an extremely long stay. This is the ONLY place I will stay whenever in Decatur. I cannot say enough about Evelyn in how she runs this property. Just pure Excellence!

Great stay, great team and very clean hotel. Thank you taking care of my family and I. Location on the river is idea. We stayed here overnight on our way to Nashville. We will be back very soon. Breakfast was hot and the options were great, everyone seemed happy to be here including the employees

We stayed one night. The rooms were dirty. Carpets stained, the river view window had tons of bugs stuck to the window, there was hairs on the lights, bugs in the corner, sheets kept coming off bed, shower dirty. The kicker they charged us 75.00 for my dog for one night the over all bill $313 for one night! The elevators inspection was expired by a year; per the paperwork in the elevator. They even charge for drinks at breakfast! The only thing saving this place is the location and friendly front desk person. (Night shift great...morning not so much)

Stayed here for training with my work. Hotel staff was excellent and, provided information on food in the area and other fun things to do. Everything about the room was super clean and fresh. Made my stay so enjoyable with all the amenities as well. Gym was clean and had great equipment as well. Pool wasn't open yet, but was really nice with a cool view of the water. 10/10

This is easily a 3 star hotel but this rating comes from the horrible service we had while at this location. I was there from April 17th to April 21 2024 and the room was not cleaned once. After the second day we asked to have dirty towels and garbage removed everyday and it was not done. We had to stop at the front desk everyday to get clean towels and wash clothes or we would have had to use dirty ones. The garbage was running over by day 2 and was never picked up. I have never stayed at a location that was so nice with such terrible service. Do not no if ill ever stay there again. See attached photos. I would have given 5 stars if not for terrible service.

This location is my favorite hotel in Decatur. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly, and you’re right on the water. I always stay here when I’m traveling in North Alabama. ||I recommend to all of my friends and family to use this location when staying in the Decatur area. 10/10

I was just here on business, i come back to all my clothes including my totally soaked shirt mixed in with all my clean laundry in a bag at the front desk. Due to a miscommunication with my company. No the hotel didn’t bother calling me, or my company.. they just took change and ruffled all my personal items.. Would not recommend, a colleague of mine also was staying here. Got to his room on the first day totally a mess (see photos below).
