Rooms- actually more like a 4.5, but a few annoying things. First, no streaming available on the TV. Not a big deal, but it's still a bit disappointing considering how common that now is. Second, as seems to be a trend these days, sliding barn doors on the bathroom. They may be stylish, but no way to lock them that I found, it's way too easy to leave a gap open, and they rattle. Third, as also seems to be a trend these days, instead of having a ceiling light you can simply turn on with a wall switch, you end up having to turn on multiple different lights around the room to get enough light. Not the fault of the hotel however, simply whoever designed the rooms. Other than that the room was quite comfortable and very clean, so no real complaints there.

Service- Excellent. Didn't need to ask for much, but the staff was on top of everything, particularly at breakfast, which was also pretty good.

Location- subjective, but for my purposes very good. Far enough off the main road to be quiet, but close enough to make it easy to get around.

I chose this hotel for our trip to Bend because the description highlighted a nice pool, and my kids love to swim. Credit where credit is due—the pool was decent. But honestly, that was about the only highlight of our stay.

I picked this place largely based on reviews praising its cleanliness. And yes, the room did look clean when we arrived. However, several details left me disappointed. There was tape still stuck to the window frame—something I wouldn’t expect from a property that claims to be well-maintained.

At the pool, there weren’t enough towels available for all the guests. And although it’s an indoor pool, the water was surprisingly cold, which made it hard to enjoy.

What concerned me the most was the complete lack of access control. There were no card readers or keypad locks for the elevators, guest room floors, or pool area. This meant anyone could freely walk in and out. I even saw a few people—clearly not hotel guests—come in to swim and then leave shortly after. That’s simply not acceptable.

The hallway outside our room constantly smelled like greasy food. It’s hard to describe, but the odor lingered and made the environment unpleasant.

The next day, we returned from an outing to find that housekeeping hadn’t serviced our room. At breakfast, there was hot coffee, some disposable cups and utensils—but not nearly enough. There were also too few cups for cold drinks, which was frustrating. And for a relatively new hotel, I was surprised to see only two electric vehicle charging stations—definitely not sufficient.

One bright spot: the gentleman working in the breakfast area. He was hardworking, genuinely kind, kept the space clean, and went out of his way to help guests. His effort truly stood out.

As a Hilton Gold member and loyal supporter of the brand, I expected a better overall experience. I sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful improvements.

Affordable, colorful new suite style rooms. Appreciate the availability of electric vehicle chargers.

Services were lacking, no maid service in 3-days. Front desk says that rooms are only cleaned on Mon-Wed-Fri. However, as of 1pm on Monday, we have received no housekeeping service, despite 2 trips to the front desk.

Free breakfast was poorly stocked (no eggs or breads) on multiple days. Dining staff complained loudly about guests during service, which was off-putting.

Skiers looking for an end of day soak will find only a brisk pool, no hot tub.

Good option for budget accommodation if amenities and services are not priority.

Over all it is a nice, clean and for at least last night a very quiet hotel. The room was clean, nice kitchenette that was well stocked with dishes.

Just a few things that were odd: the indoor pool was coooooold. There was no one there mid afternoon on a Saturday and after the boys jumped in, we figured out why. They could only stay in for like 5min and came out shivering.

The breakfast was great, love that they have 2 waffle makers, and that the mix was egg free! However, only 20mins into the breakfast time, they'd run out of forks and the poor worker was having to hand wash individual forks as people finished eating. He said people take the forks to their rooms and forget to bring them back down. The hospitality staff might want to go through the room kitchens to bring back down the extra forks. (Or, bring your own fork from your room when you come down for breakfast)

I traveled to Bend from Washington state with my brother on a Thursday because of a health emergency at the Bend hospital. We checked in without a reservation. Asked for 2 rooms and given 216 and 218 and the desk clerk gave an immediate discount because we arrived for a loved one in the hospital. I explained that our length of stay would be on a daily basis and was told that it would be no problem. So giving the clerk a one day notice for each day, we ended staying until Sunday with no issues. The rooms were way more than we needed. We were only expecting a simple place to sleep and not expecting a whole kitchen and lounge area in the rooms and all of the other great amenities A+++++. Everything was spotless and clean. I highly recommend this place for comfort and sound of mind. A+++++.

I travel a lot for work and I always stay at Hilton hotels. This is the first time that I’ve stayed at this hotel. The room was nice and clean. My big complaint was the breakfast…..it was terrible. The breakfast bagel (which had egg, sausage & cheese) in it was terrible. The bagel was rock hard, the egg, sausage and cheese were cold. The potatoes were cold and had an odd aftertaste. The bacon (what little bit that was left) was cold. There were no forks and no cups. Worst breakfast I’ve had while traveling.

The first concern was getting a standard room so I could use less Hilton points. I called the hotel directly and they had plenty but I would have to pay. So I booked a suite because this hotel was closest to the hospital using points. The shower water pressure was horrible and when I went to the lobby for breakfast at 6:33 because they open at 6:30 to get some breakfast before I went to hospital to see my husband. It was dark but the trays were full of heated food so I started getting some to take with me. A rude man came out and yelled at me “what are you doing we aren’t open yet”. I took the food and left. I called hotel later today and asked for manager, they weren’t avail but the person said they would have them call me, I didn’t get a call. I will never stay there again even though it was close to where I needed to be.

My wife and two kids and I had a great stay at the home 2 in bend. Matt at breakfast was absolutely great with us and my kids. As a dad, having someone engage with my kids with a positive vibe like Matt’s makes a stay and keeps a positive thought for the customer. You keep it real Matt!
