Would love to book here, but, the number provided is for some elderly lady in NC. You should probably fix that..

Traveling from northern Ohio to NC we stayed overnight at the Holly Hilly Inn B and B in Pomeroy, Ohio. It was a fantastic choice!|Bruce and Jane were very welcoming and prepared a delicious dinner for my husband and me. |The atmosphere is very casual and inviting. We stayed in the Holly room and it was so comfortable. |Breakfast was also delicious and filling. Bruce’s blueberry scones were amazing!|Our walk around the property of this house, circa 1836, was almost spiritual. It was so moving to see the magnificent maple trees that are likely close to 200 years old. |Please, do yourself a favor, if you are ever in the Pomeroy, Ohio area, stay at the Holly Hill Inn, B & B.

Absolutely one of the coziest places I've had the pleasure to stay in! Beautiful historic decor, lovely river views, and very comfy beds. The bow on top would be the ever gracious host, Bruce. Incredibly kind hearted and welcoming, an excellent cook, and witty raconteur- please try the homemade blueberry scones, you won't regret it! Will come back should I ever find myself in that area again. PS very sweet and adorable cats on the premises as well.

The Holly Hill Inn was absolutely AMAZING! Bruce and Jane could not have been any more hospitable! Bruce was very accommodating even though we came in late (around 9:30 pm.) He served us delicious homemade meatballs and garlic bread right after we took the tour and moved our luggage into our room. We had so many delightful conversations with Bruce and later, Jane. We felt so comfortable, welcome and right at home. The bed was so comfortable that we slept right through the alarm the first morning.

The Inn was decorated so beautifully for Halloween. There was even a Harvest Tree in the great room. Breakfast was filling enough to carry us through the entire day. We had the the best blueberry scones. They are as big as your head and they always preceded a huge breakfast! Day one was a huge plate of eggs, toast, bacon, yogurt and fruit. Day two included eggs, pumpkin French toast, ham steaks and yogurt with fruit. On day three, we had the famous Holly Hill Hash with pumpkin waffles.

We will absolutely stay here again when we are back in the area!

We were looking for a dog friendly accommodation in the Athens area and settled on The Holly Hill Inn. Bruce was very accommodating. We booked same day through airbnb with Bruce accepting our inquiry within a couple of hours.| The Inn is a historic structure built in 1836, perched atop a hill in Pomeroy. The Inn is surrounded by large old trees, including holly trees on the top of the hill that gives a kind of private, romantic, secluded atmosphere. The guest rooms are large with large antique glass windows looking out over the yard and hillside. Our bed was comfortable with a bathroom right down the hall. Our Dog Jake was welcomed and had free rein over the property while we were present, the cats even tolerated him.|Our breakfast was filling with eggs cooked to our liking and Bruce's signature delicious blueberry scones as an added delight. |Bruce was the consumate host. He greeted us upon arrival showed us around, and gave us the lowdown. He was kind enough to return a computer charger one in our party left at the Inn.

This place is an absolute gem. My friends and I ended up staying here because we were in search of the elusive mothman, however we found a lot more than that! We were first greeted by the sweetest little cat you’ll ever meet, who we affectionately called “Boots”. Bruce then came out to greet us, gave us a tour and showed us to our room, and we immediately felt right at home. The rooms were beautiful and historic, with lots of charm to them. Bruce is so nice to chat with and gave us a lot of information about the house and good spots to check out in town. The house is settled on a hill up a quiet street, we felt very safe when coming back to the house after a night out. When it came time for breakfast, we had some incredible (homemade!) blueberry scones, along with eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Bruce even built us a bonfire after a long day of touring around, which was perfect to relax in front of. There’s even a cave on the property that my friends and I ventured up to, it was a bit of a climb but well worth it, Boots even accompanied us up there! Our experience at the Holly Hill Inn couldn’t have been better and I’m so glad we were able to meet Bruce, you can tell he loves what he does and he loves the people that come through, we’ll be sure to come back!

Old bed and breakfast from 1836! On top of a hill, looks out over the town and river. The owner, Bruce, was awesome! So accommodating, friendly and loved talking to him. He is an amazing cook - breakfast was home fries, French toast, bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. In addition to the best homemade blueberry scones!! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would absolutely stay again

This place is amazing! You could not ask for a better host than resident chef and host Bruce, who will make you feel like you are family. Pets are welcome and better than that neurodivergent, autism families are welcomed with open arms and accommodations made to ensure that you get the rest and peace you came for. 1000 cities, more townships, villages and townships over 28% of this USA, we have traveled since March 2022, and more overpriced and not at all willing to accommodate my grandson's disability and it is in Palmeroy OH at this beautiful historic inn that we found more than a place to stay, we found family, we found home! If you are traveling in and around West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania or just doing the world tour like we are, make your way to Holly Hill Inn, you will not regret it. If you are looking for a weekend (or longer) retreat, Bruce and his team treat you like royalty and family all at the same time. I've never encountered an environment like we have found here at Holly Hill, you don't even need a reason, but you must come experience Holly Hill Inn.
