I notice things a lot more when they don't follow the same day-to-day procedures. I noticed something about our stay at the Holiday Inn Portland West location in Hillsboro this week. It was that the stay was more than just a "Good Night Stay". Every Staff Member we came across use genuinely polite and respectful. The atmosphere of the Hotel was calming, especially, after driving for a number of hours thru traffic and weather. The Hotel Lobby was a knock-out as far as layout and design. Comfortable, business computer and printer available, cocktail lounge with a nice set-up, breakfast buffet that was not only clean, well layed-out, but that a "spit shin" that would have made the General happy.
The Pool and Jacuzzi area was clean, the water in the pool warm and the hot tub was the temperature it is designed to be at. The exercise room offered a number of activities to walk, bike, lift, and stretch that reminded me of a small gym. It was clean, plenty of towels, and the room temperature was perfect. Out room was excellent, anything we needed, staff was quick to answer our call. We did notice that the Hotel and its location, offered a quiet and peaceful setting both inside and outside. This Hotel offered a great place to just get away from the norm and relax. We're going back again, no question, so make room for us too!

Was a wonderful place to stay. We came down for a birthday party after we wanted to all visit and the sitting space downstairs was perfect for that. Bartender was amazing. Wish I caught her name. The rooms were perfect. Don't love the sliding bathroom door but it was fine. Love that the doors don't unlock if the other lock is on. Just an incredible stay. I did not get back my full $25 but it's fine.

I had approached the manager and his assistant several weeks before my stay. I am looking for a hotel with a reasonably sized function space, for a future fashion show and convention. When i stayed at the hotel, I asked a couple of my fashion-forward friends to come and see the hotel. We did a short photo shoot - to check lighting, room layout, etc., and it seems that everyone was impressed with this hotel. I intend to press forward with the fashion show event, and look forward to working with the staff and management to make this happen.

Property was clean and well managed. Check in was very easy and the location was perfect. Friendly staff and very accommodating. The bar was also perfect way to unwind before hitting the sack. Overall 10/10 I would recommend.

It was a very nice hotel. I was very pleased until I checked out and received an email charging me for parking. Unreal after already paying for a room? I have stayed at many IHG hotels and have never paid for parking after paying for the room.

OK average hotel. The cost is reasonable but $10 a night for parking is ridiculous… this isn’t downtown. The pool was a hit with the kid. The breakfast is OK, but each day something ran out and would be available “tomorrow.” You will hear your upstairs neighbors’ footsteps. Free level 2 electric car charging almost makes up for the parking fee. Pretty close to a MAX park & ride and also close to Next Level Pinball & Arcade, the biggest on the West Coast!

This hotel has been one of the most updated and clean hotels i have been too in the past year. From the lobby to the room, everything was updated and clean. The bathroom was fully stocked and the built in cabinets with lighting were a nice touch.

I was very impressed with my stay and would go out of my way to stay here instead of Portland.

When checking in the timing was good. After getting to my room, it was nice to sit and relax before venturing out. The area had a lot to see in just a short drive. Thank you so very much for the stay.
