Our stay at the IHG property was perfect. The check in process was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had not made a reservation ahead of time, because we were not certain of our plans, but were able to get a room for the night. We so enjoy the beautiful lounge. We warm and comfortable. We also ate dinner at the restaurant. It was delicious! The waitress was so sweet and kind and we enjoyed the steaks that were ordered. It was great to be able to walk around the property afterwards. The courtyard is very large and quiet!

This hotel has become so dated and poorly maintained. We reserved a king one bedroom suite with the sofa bed. The amount of broken, stained, and never cared for items was appalling. The bathtub faucet pours water, the curtains are stained and no one appears to care, the walls have filth left from previous stays that are not addressed, the office chair has two broken arms that splay out if touched, the lamp shades are bent and stained. My son went to the lobby the first night to request the linens and pillows for the pullout bed and he was told there were no pillows and the staff remember sent him back to the room with two ancient and flat couch pillows from the lobby. He was able to secure linens for the pullout which of course had an ancient and very worn mattress. What else does one expect from a pullout though? What killed me about the pillows is there could not have been more than five other guest in the whole place the night he requested pillows. You’re telling me there wasn’t a single pillow in the whole place?! Whatever. I cannot stand the disrepair at this location anymore, and while we have stayed here many times over the years, I just will not subject my family to it anymore. There are too many other options for an IHG member, and this location is not worth a dime.

After checking in at this Holiday Inn, we decided to have dinner in-house but the hotel restaurant was closed because there was no cook. I wanted to buy my 78 year-old wife a happy hour glass of wine at the bar, but she left her purse upstairs in our room and didn't have her ID with her, and so they said that was the rule and they wouldn't sell me a glass of wine for her, which infuriated us both. There is absolutely no justification for this rule!

In our room there were a number of maintenance issues -- the desk chair lift mechanism was broken, the toilet flush didn't operate correctly, the hook on the bathroom door was missing (the bracket was still there), and the knob on one of the closet doors kept coming off. Also, the coffee machine in the lobby needed new filter paper and would not dispense any coffee during the two days of our stay. And the fresh water dispenser was out of water most of the time. When we tried to tell someone about these issues, there was no one at the front desk. That absence was repeated at least four times during our two day stay. When I finally found a desk clerk, I politely asked him (Josiah) if he had a moment for me, but he stared straight ahead at the computer and wouldn't look at me. I waited another moment and finally said "I guess not" and then left.

The personnel in this hotel were rude and inept, except for the housekeeping maids. And in checking out, they charged us another 3.5% or so tax which was not disclosed when making the reservation, which also happened last year when we stayed at his hotel. Also, several times in the last two weeks while trying to use my reward points to book a stay at two different Holiday Inns it would not accept this form of payment. This was the third time in less than a year that we had serious issues with IHG stays.

We will never again stay at an IHG hotel!

My husband unexpectedly needed 2 hotel rooms after a family member had a medical procedure at an area hospital. Crystal, the desk staff, was incredibly helpful in getting rooms reserved and set up for a late night hospital discharge. She was extremely helpful in making the process as easy as possible.

We stayed 3/17-3/18 at this Holiday Inn. The a/c was not working in our room. It was 75 degrees when we arrived and would not cool down below 73 degrees even by the morning. The room phone was broken, and the alarm clock had not been correctly set from the time change. We mentioned these at check out, but there was no credit offered. The breakfast was good.

3rd visit in a few months and all rooms have been the same end result. Couches are sunken in, chairs worn out. No outlets for USB chargers, TVs are old, slow and no streaming. No water in room. Rooms are spacious and pillows were comfortable.

This hotel is in desperate need of a rehab. The rooms are dark, dingy, and I would think twice before sitting on the furniture. If the condition of this hotel meets current Holiday Inn standards then I am done staying at Holiday Inns. That being said, all the employees I encountered were very nice and helpful.

We'd not stayed in a Holiday Inn (as opposed to an HI Express) in some years. The differences are a higher level of service and an in-house restaurant. This particular one was priced below the nearby HI Express, so we tried it. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff was cheerful and fabulous. The in-house restaurant we used for breakfast, which our room rate didn't include. But the buffet was wroth what we paid for it, and the server was very friendly and helpful.

The one drawback was that our room had been smoked in by a previous guest, and the smell still lingered, in spite of the clearly competent cleaning the room had received before our arrival. We told the font desk folks about this, and they offered to switch our room--which, in retrospect, we should have taken. The smell, alas, made it tough to sleep, even with the a/c on high. Bottom line: we'd stay there again--30+ restaurants within walking distance as well as incredible staff--but we'd ask to move if we experienced the same smoked-in room issue.
