This hotel had many positive qualities. The staff members were extremely gracious and welcoming. The restaurant and lounge were nice, and the food was good. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only suggestion I might make for a better experience is more rigorous cleaning. (Dust and other dirt had accumulated on some surfaces throughout.)

Rooms are clean...Tv has a good selection of channels.

We had three rooms booked on the week coming up to labor day weekend and not a single one of them did not have an issue. The moved my sister and her husband, with two children, into a room with a king bed and a couch, telling them that a double room was not available at all. Reasonable, IF NOT that we had a vacant room booked for an incoming family member that was set up as a double.

Toilet broken in one room for four days.
Bathtub, Shower non functioning in one room
Hairdryer, not that they do anything, not working in another room.

Tables from breakfast on patio were not bussed until bar 'crowd' showed up at 8pm.

I would like to thank MANAGEMENT for refunding some money, but I cannot give an extra couple of stars because the support staff, at the absence of the manager, spoke loudly and rudely about my family being a hassle and the manager being a push over.

Had we not had a family member in hospice at the Medical Center nearby, we would have moved immediately. Don't come unless you have to.

Very pleased with this hotel. The air conditioning was broken which was not fun. I called down to the front desk and they moved me almost immediately, which was no fun with 4 kids. The new room also had a broken AC unit, the manager immediately responded to my email, literally within 10 min and sent someone out to install a brand new unit. She was extremely kind and understanding over he phone. I would def stay here again. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and took care of the room as well.

Love!!!

We're here for a night and everything has been a breeze.

By the time I had our son and bags out of the car, my husband had checked us in, and the front desk was amazing. When we booked online earlier in the day it placed us on the 2nd floor, and they were able to place us on the ground floor with pool access - we had one SUPER happy seven year old!!

They personally ran down to housekeeping and got us an extra blanket when we asked for one, and the room is great!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed here. Otherwise, just look elsewhere. Would like to add something positive about this hotel but there just wasn't anything. Like how we drove around the block 3 times looking for the Holiday Inn we booked only to find out it's now a Ramada. Downhill from there.

This hotel is nice and clean. It is located in the heart of Gainesville. My only complaints are the furnishings in our King Suite were dated and it was a bit noisy when our neighbors were entering/exiting their rooms. That being said this hotel is in excess of 27 years old and well maintained for the age. The bed was wonderfully comfortable.

I had wonderful service. My housekeeper was super nice. She helped me and wife to work the coffee maker. She also set my clock cause I thought it was broke. But it wasn't. She brought us more coffee and towels as soon as I ask. Great job. So pleased. Her name I think was shelby or that's what she said it was. She was the sweetest person going out of her way to help us elderly

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel on Dec 2 and Dec 3. We were very disappointed in the room as far as the noise from the heater! We could not sleep with it on. Also the middle window only had a shear on it so the street lights were annoying. The room was clean otherwise but certainly NOT worth the $136.00 a night we had to pay. Probably will not stay here again when we visit our grandchildren. We traveled 9 hours to see them and were very disappointed to not get a good night's sleep. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my comments.
