My husband and I stayed overnight on our way to Virginia. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly. I was greeted warmly by the front desk clerk. Housekeeping and food service personnel were helpful and efficient. The room (and public areas) was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of hot and cold options.

I wanted an early check-in and the only thing they had available was on the first floor by the pool. At first I thought oh no near the pool. This is gonna be noisy and smell like chlorine. Could not be farther from the truth. There were kids swimming in the pool and yes, you could hear them in the hallway, but you could not hear them in the room and no smell of chlorine. Don’t get me wrong. The kids that were in the pool were very well behaved and their parents were with them. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable bathroom amenities were perfect. In the morning, we could smell breakfast cooking which kinda gave you an at home feeling. A nice variety of breakfast choices also. I would recommend this hotel to anybody passing through Waycross, Georgia. The parking lot is small and there is construction in the area, but as soon as the construction’s done, I feel the parking lot will be bigger.

We stayed at the Waycross Holiday Inn Express during a family visit. We travel with two dogs so a pet friendly hotel was a must. With that in mind, what I enjoyed about our stay, and specifically our room, was that it was large enough for us with our luggage and two dog crates, and still have enough room to walk around comfortably. We were assigned a second floor room near the elevator to make it easier to get in and out with the dogs, but also found it quite convenient to use the stairway as well. At check-in we were given a door hanger to alert the staff that pets were in the room, with the policy being that no one will enter if a pet is inside. I really liked that, and it is the first I've seen this practice. Our room and bathroom was large, comfortable and clean, and the appliances worked. And for us technology geeks, there were outlets and USB ports on the desk, both nightstands and by the TV so we were able to easily connect anything and everything. Finally, I appreciated the hot breakfast and coffee. It was a nice way to start the day.

Ac worked great. Beds comfortable. Shower was best I’ve had in a hotel, great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

The entire staff was friendly and professional. Our ADA room was roomy and well designed for wheelchair accessibility. The bedding was amazingly comfortable and the cleanliness was exceptional. We will be back! Thank you for a memorable visit.

Staff were great as always. Hotel lobby is clean and pleasant. Breakfast is simple but good. The suite was spacious. The hotel is showing a lot of wear and tear in the hallways and rooms. The bathroom toilet and inside the shower were clean but the rest of the bathroom was dirty and in need of a deep cleaning. This lack of cleanliness has been a long term issue at this hotel. Clearly housekeeping is paid enough to spot clean but not deep clean the rooms. The bed was not comfortable. Too end on a positive note staff is always highly responsive.

We were visiting Okeefenokee and stayed here with a party of 7 and rented 2 rooms. It met our needs. The grandkids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Breakfast was very good.

My only complaint with my stay is that we were on the 4th floor and the elevator was not operating on our last day. This required lugging my luggage down the stairs. Not an issue most days but I do have hip issues that make stairs extremely painful.

Every thing else was nice. The bed was very comfortable and I did enjoy the breakfast.
