I have been coming to Rome for the past year helping my mother move to a retirement home. We had always stayed in a downtown hotel, but their service was very poor and when they suddenly decided to start charging for parking, we knew it was time to find a new hotel. The Holiday Inn was wonderful, and I'm so glad we moved. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. The rooms were clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. The shower was good, and my only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom is blinding...could you take out some of the lights? But overall the stay was so comfortable. I didn't go down for breakfast but I think it's included in the rate. Great hotel.

The staff were amazing, joyful, accommodating. I requested both an early check in and checkout and received both. And I had requested a room overlooking the woods and was given one!
The hotel is spotless! The room and bathroom too! Microwave, and fridge were appreciated and a Keurig in the room for REAL coffee! Hallelujah!
And the value for such wonderful service was tremendous!
I’d come back to this hotel for sure!

I never look any further when I’m away on business. The Holiday Inn Express in Rome is top notch. Starting with how they greet you no matter the hour of the day, throughout your entire stay and the time you check out- their customer service is on point! They never miss the opportunity to greet you and genuinely ask you how you are. The rooms are always clean and inviting. Holiday Inn Express will always be my choice.

This hotel is one of our favorites. Location is convenient and quiet. Rooms are always clean. If there is ever an issue the front desk staff are prompt in responding to our needs. On our last visit we encountered one particular front desk staff member that wasn't pleasant to communicate with (in regards to finding a remote for the tv in our room). Actually, she wasn't willing to help us in anyway. We waited until the next morning and spoke to a different staff member at the front desk. This employee was willing to go above and beyond what was expected. It was a quick, simple and easy fix that was very much appreciated!

We have stayed at this HI--Express twice and are repeat customers because the staff is exceptional. We drove our electric car from the AL Gulf Coast and returned to the hotel late at night to find both EV charger parking spots occupied by combustible engine vehicles.

The nice concierge at the front desk tracked down one of the guests and called him down to move his car. He was extremely rude and argued with her at length then glared at us, before reluctantly complying. She not only endured this abuse, she even apologized to US. I didn't think to get her name but this was service well above and beyond anything we ever expected. Will be back.

I used points for a one night stay to visit our parents in nursing homes in Rome. I thought everything was fine, but the hotel sent a bill to my employer for additional charges with no justification and without my authorization. They have failed to address the issue, stating I need to wake up during their manager’s hours so she can “explain” what the charge was for. I am not accustomed to being treated this way at any Holiday Inn Express, and I don’t intend to be ever again.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Most every visit is nice, pleasant & quiet. 95% of hotel staff are friendly and pleasant to interact with. Breakfast options are good and beds are comfy.

The sleeping arrangements was great. The front desk staff can use some improvement. No, I was not resinized as a valued customer as I get with your other locations. This week the person that pleasant at all. I requested a first-floor room on last week when I checked out and was told that I will get it. When I showed up the person that checked me in was very rude when I asked them about it. I was told there are no rooms, and she did not feel that she needed to elaborate about the situation. Nothing else was said from me. I just wanted to vent because I'm not use to being treated like that at the other IHG locations.
