Checking in went smoothly and they were friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The pool was a little cold but that's the only complaint I have. The breakfast food was really good. Also we got our deposit put back on our card quickly.

We often stay at IHG hotels but can be very inconsistent in cleanliness and quality of breakfast offered. This stay was not the best. When we checked in to our room it had uncleaned stains on the carpet everywhere. And I mean everywhere. It looked as if someone with a toddler had let them run all over the room with a cream filled food and ground it in to the carpet. It may have been vacuumed during cleaning but the residue was there and you couldn't walk anywhere without stepping in it. The front desk was helpful and moved us to another room but said they were almost fully booked when looking for another room. When we opened the door to the second room a cockroach ran across the floor into the bathroom! It was late and my daughter talked me out of trying to change rooms again or move to another hotel so we stayed. Cleanliness is the most important thing in a hotel. The rooms were very dark and where there is one cockroach there are more. We won't stay here again.

The good: both the evening and morning staff every day of our three-day stay were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient, and did the best they could on a run-down property. The mattress looked new, and was clean and comfortable.

The bad: The carpet was filthy, with a huge stain near the couch. The wires to both desk lights had been cut, so the desk lights didn’t work. This didn’t leave much light in the room in the evenings, as there were no overhead lights in the room, just a small floor lamp and two tiny night stand lights. There were holes in the bathroom light fixture, and the pipe under the sink was leaking. The room was in desperate need of maintenance and refinishing.

It was pouring rain during our trip, so I wanted to use the fitness equipment. The treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike were all broken. According to the front desk person, who was sincerely apologetic, said they had all been broken for a long time.

Bath tub stopper didn’t stop all the way. Room was very clean and nice. Great view even though we thought it was gonna be overlooking the riverside..Pool is nice but isn’t hot whatsoever and didn’t see a hot tub insight whatsoever as well. Complimentary breakfast we will see how it is in the AM will keep yall updated. Lots of places as well. Noticed underneath side of bed where looks like someone dropped the iron on the floor. 😬

Rooms are “OK” you can hear EVERYTHING (hallway,rooms above and below) Beds are good BUT DO NOT put anyone on the sleeper sofa, the padding is so thin you can eel the bars and springs. We asked for an another padding for it but no luck. Stains on window shades. Front desk people were nice but no help when it comes to making anything better.

I stay at a ton of hotels, airbnb, couch places off couch surfing. This was an amazing experience that continued going the entire trip. The main reason for that is from the staff and everything else as great for me as well.

First the staff. Cen was there when I checked into the hotel and she was at the front desk. She recognized me and was very hospitable in welcoming me and getting me set up. I ask for a request since I was an award member and she checked but it wasn't available. However, the fact she did that went above and beyond. Following that just in our discussion I mentioned I was so excited to get over to Los Cabos for dinner if it was still open. Next thing I know she is researching to check for me! That is the definition of going ABOVE and BEYOND!! Huge plus!

After the experience at the front desk, I went to my room which was amazingly clean! On top of that two small chocolate mints were there. Not a big cost or anything big; however was much appreciated. To me, the little things matter a lot!! This mattered a lot! Now, this hotel has been here for awhile and is getting older; like myself! So with that said, there were some stains around; especially on the blackout curtain and such. The water head in the shower was older. However, it was very clean even though it was older. The sheets were all clean and everything was nice plus plenty of hot water! TV had plenty of stations in the room. Next, the breakfast personal were very friendly as well. Plus, I love me some biscuits and gravy, and the biscuits here were some of the best that I have ever had at a Holiday Inn Express!! Very fluffy and soft.

So just a heads up, the pool was down and being worked on, which stinks because it is indoor and would have been a perfect place to relax on Saturday night and the breakfast area could use some upgrades as the furniture was a bit older. However, for me, this will become a huge place to stay at. I had been using the HIE in Glenpool as my parents live just south of there about 2 miles. Since the new year, their prices have skyrocketed plus are now charging a resort fee for some reason. Then I stayed at AVID because it was the cheapest a couple of week back. I am coming back up the end of March to celebrate my dads birthday and this one had the best price so selected it. My dad had a medical emergency so had to come back up this past weekend as well. This was my best hotel in the area for IHG and I will be looking forward to staying here in upcoming visits; although it will add another 10 minutes on my trip to visit the parents. I will be looking forward to the pool being fixed.

Overall great stay and can't wait to get back. BTW, if you haven't had Los Cabos, walk there as it is very close by. On the weekends they usually have a band or live music outside. Also, the Tulsa Outlet Mall is right there a short walk or very short drive away as well.

Overall this hotel is nice. We have stayed here before and will again. Were disappointed in the lack of hot coffee even at 6 am!! Our shower had nobody wash in dispenser so had to do my shower with shampoo! Asked front desk for it to be replaced but was giving stinky hand soap instead. Would not accept my AARP card for discount!! Did not tell me anywhere during booking process there was a $100 incidental charge until AFTER my card was ran!! Was told it would be immediately returned upon check out. It was not! And now its over 24 hours and still hasnt been returned! We have stayed here before and it was great!! This time not so much! The room was very clean. Beds very comfortable

I stay here or at the Holiday Inn by the Aquarium whenever I come for business to Tulsa.||The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The breakfast is really good and the coffee in the lobby and at breakfast is great.||||The business center is always ready to go.||||I wish that they had a better selection at the little market at both of the hotels. It looks like Charlie Browns christmas tree in those. VERY sparse compared to other hotels.||||Overall a great place and credit where credit is due so I will take the time to post this on multiple sites since most people only review a negative review. (I will be copy and paste though. That's just my MO in life.
