I pulled in due to severe weather in the area and driving was dangerous. I was told they only had. King suite which was fine I said I would take it. The carpets in the lobby and the elevators were covered in dried dirt and mud. Got up to the room .. lighting was horrible for the size of the room. Bathroom was dark feeling and dirty . Overall room was not clean and sheets had staining on them. But the worst part was the humidity feeling in the room and then when the rain started coming down heavily it began pouring into the room alongside the windows and the floor became soaked with water. Made sleep pretty much impossible so I eventually just got up. Upon further inspection of the water damage which I took pictures of .. I looked inside the vents on the AC in the window and it was covered inside with dirt and mold. I explained the situation to the front desk when I checked out and they said “sorry about that here’s your receipt” . I’m not asking for a refund .. however .. I would have thought they would’ve discounted the room a bit given the disgusting state of it and then the water and mold issues . This is a pretty hotel so I was surprised it was so gross. Def won’t stay here again which is sad because we had planned on coming back thru on our way to Wakita with our kids this summer. The staff was friendly and welcoming other than that . But this is not up to the standards I’m used to when booking an IHG hotel. I don’t typically worry about booking because I have always had great experiences in your various hotels.

Even though the guy who checked me in was great I would give him 5 stars but his teamwork are the worse .
Used towels on toilet , bed not made , tv doesn’t even work i reported it and nothing was done . Also breakfast wants even ready at 6:00 am for the people that be up early.it is sad this is the treatment members get I use holiday inn 3 times per week since I be traveling for work . I work at hospitals and clinics I just needed a nice place to rest ended up sleeping on the dam couch cause the gave me a use room and when i reported it nothing was done.

Thanks holiday inn time to get my business somewhere else. Blessings and the guy who assisted me on 02/04/2025 at 6:40 pm keep it up you have a great customer service. It’s not you is your teammates you belong in a team that appreciate you more than these guys .

Buyer beware! If you have an issue with this hotel….they do not care about customer service or their customer at all. I literally had issues too long to even write about …but at midnight I had to hunt the lady down to help me twice….she was out smoking in her car….she had brought her little girl to work with her…she comes to my room to help me with my issue…her little girl proceeds to crawl all over my bed with her shoes on….the lady pulls out the cord that was attached to the lighting issue I was having…I .literally watched her do it with my own eyes…..then when this caused issues with the electrical working for the plugs by the bed….she moved me to a different room…so at 1:00 in the morning I’m having to pack up and move everything to a room a floor down….could not go to sleep after this…maybe an hour of sleep before I had to get up and drive the next day. I asked to speak to a manager the next day….was told she would call me the next day….i never heard from anyone…so I gave it the weekend and called the following week…the manager could care less about any thing that I experienced and told me that since they were able to move me to a different room that they will not do anything for me in regards to my money back or anything. I told her that wasn’t acceptable & asked for corporates number and she very snarkily laughed and said “sure”….and gave it to me. I soon realized why she laughed when I asked her for corporates number…because corporate was a joke….the manager obviously knew that nothing would come of it for me. It honestly doesn’t matter what your experience is….. they will take the story from the hotel manager and that is all they care about. The hotel reported to corporate that I caused damages to the room which is an absolute lie!!!!! They are claiming that I am the one that pulled the cord from the wall when I watched with my own eyes the lady that worked there do it. They are slandering my good name . I am so offended. It doesn’t matter that I have told corporate that this is a lie…they are just standing by their hotel and could care less about their customers.it’s my word against theirs….and they only care about their word. It’s such a shame. I have never in my 52 years asked for a refund on a hotel room…so it’s not like this is normal for me . I know that nothing is perfect…..I don’t expect perfection….. but I most definitely did not get what I paid for…. and then after the fact…to be lied about on top of it. Unbelievable! I’m sure there are good Holiday Inn Expresses out there run by professional managers that care about customer service….but I can promise you….the one in Blackwell , Oklahoma….is not one of them! I will NEVER stay at another Holiday Inn Express considering how corporate has proven they don’t stand by their paying customers what so ever.
So I say again……Buyer Beware!

We showed up late and were very tired. Traveling with dogs was a little stressful but not once we got to the hotel. We were greeted by the night auditor and felt very much at ease and welcome. The only complaint I have is the hotel is looking worn and the shower needs to be regrouted. The staff is amazing and the food was good and well stocked. We will be staying again on the way back.

The breakfast was inedible. The eggs had an inch of water in the bottom, the bacon was partially cooked and tasted like soggy cardboard. I finally settled on cereal and milk. It would be great if someone walk the breakfast bar occasionally and just looked at the food, not the cook, someone else.

The rest of the staff was friendly the room was clean and quiet.

Easy to get to from interstate, friendly at checkin, comfy beds, breakfast was good. Price was ok, I just feel like hotels are overpriced no matter where you stay. Would stay again if in the area!

Everything was just great. The room was clean and the bead was comfortable. The breakfast had good choices and very tasty. I have stayed in this hotel before and will stay there again. I have not been disappointed any of my stays there.

190 a night. Pee all over toilet. Night stands were gross and sticky. Sheets looked and smelt dirty. So gross i wouldn't stay. Night guy was supposed to cancel but was still charged. This hotel gives holiday inn a bad name
