The staff was incredibly helpful especially when I unexpectedly needed to extend my stay. The TV in the room is large and has multiple ports to connect your laptop (great if you need to practice a presentation!) I stayed in a standard double Queen room. The sink was separate from the main part of the bathroom which was convenient (though the actual bathroom part was pretty small). Still, it was always clean and had large sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispensers. There were tons of towels and plenty of other amenities (hair dryer, fridge, microwave, iron, etc). Breakfast was excellent and the location was centrally located and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for here. It seems very affordable for the area but it’s seriously dated. Rooms are so tiny and there is nowhere to really sit your suitcase down and open it up except on the bed. The only friendly staff I encountered were the folks serving up breakfast. The check in line wait was exhaustingly long. We had the added pleasure of the only road to access the hotel was closed due to someone hitting a street light. We tried to get in on either end and the cops wouldn’t let us. No one could tell us anything. We ended up having to drive around for hours and make multiple calls to the hotel asking for options. There needed to be some communication with the police and the hotel staff. They really needed to be an advocate for folks who aren’t local and have no idea what to do. Instead we got an attitude every time we called. Eventually we were able to get in through a gas station parking lot across the road but it was hours after check in. I know things happen and that accident was out of their hands, but they could’ve been much more helpful and pleasant to deal with in navigating the situation.

I would like to stay that all the staff at this hotel are Rock Stars. They went over and beyond to make sure that I was well taken care of and for that I pray that this hotel will always have an overflow of blessings. The GM Gene and Sales Manager James are great leaders and it shows within this organization. The front desk managers, Britteny and Tee, are excellent because it shows within the staff at the front desk, and the night Auditor is outstanding, she made sure that everything concerning me was good. The maintenance staff, Michael, was excellent, I mean this whole staff was just amazing. I will make sure that I will recommend this hotel not only for the future but anything.

I've stayed at this property over the years and it's went from just above average to below and I will not book again in the future.

Check-in was ok, no acknowledgment of being IHG, no discussion of amenities. The key did not work. The overall front desk was problematic the whole stay. Long waits with problems guest were having. One friend we were with in the lobby stood in line 35 minutes for check-in. The value for my stay was good.

The exterior was overall pretty good with minor debris. Trash can by the door never overflowed during my stay. Parking is very limited by the door, however the upper deck parking had plenty of spaces and it’s free. No issues with safety.

The hotel and area has safety issues. The police was called to remove a homeless schizophrenic individual from the lobby that refused to leave. The parking lot across the street where Target is has multiple migrants hanging out and requesting rides. We had no issue with our car in the lot over five days.

The general lobby area was clean with coffee and tea offered. However one of two elevators were broken the entire stay. Waits were so long the stairs were typically utilized.

The room was below average with uncomfortable lumpy bed. The pillows were good. I experienced uncomfortable climate control and a sliding bathroom door that could hardly be moved and damaged. The outlets all worked for technology. The TV worked fine. The carpets were swept, but dirty.

The breakfast area was a highlight and satisfactory. Food was available and dining area clean, trash managed.

Checkout was brief no issues. However, the score is a generous 1.5, with 2 stars rounding up. I would not return to this property, I would not recommend this property, i likely will refrain from IHG properties after this stay. I'm hopeful after completing an IHG internal survey I will be contacted.

We had the best time during our hotel stay. Those preparing breakfast, cleaning our room, working in the facility, and at the desk were all kind. We felt special because of their great hospitality. The beds, shower, and sofa were wonderful. Tee is the first person we came in contact with after a long day at the airport. She was amazing. The check-in process was smooth. Throughout our stay, she greeted us and was helpful. In the evening, Jamila was there to assist us when needed.

We chose this hotel because my aunt/uncle stayed a couple months ago when visiting my uncle. They were right! The hotel is located near everything we wanted to see, and the staff was great. Our overall stay was so good that we did not want to leave.

Perhaps location or perhaps the people, but this is the best stay by far we have had in our tour of many cities for travel volleyball. The rooms were pristine--I even found myself walking without slippers, which I never do. The breakfast was head and shoulders above competitors, and my daughter was well fueled for a day of competition at the biggest event in the south. The staff exceeded expectations as one lady shared much needed rubberbands with our family.

This has to be the weirdest experience I've ever had with Holiday inn Express. So today I flew in from Miami I arrived at the hotel around 2:00 I had reservations to stay there for an entire week. So I pulled up my car in the lobby area and parked. I then went to the hotel front door One door opened but the other door was closed. So I lightly knocked the door and pressed the buzzer hoping someone would come out and assist me I waited around 15 minutes and no one appeared. So I stood there for a little while after which a lady popped out of a vehicle that was parked in front of the hotel. She then asked me if I had reservations. I replied Yes I do she then proceeded to tell me to step aside and then open the hotel door and walked in closing it behind. I thought she was going to do something and then get back to me she went in and I could hear her on her phone talking to someone and laughing which I found very odd. After 30 minutes I proceeded to tap the door again to get somebody's attention nobody came out I then saw the lady appeared at the front desk looked at me and did not say anything I was astonished that this was happening after my long flight and at the time of night You would owe someone would be concerned and would be willing to assist you. I then decided to call the IHG helpline they quickly got on it and tried to help the operator that assist me Rico he attempted to call the hotel front desk and nobody answered so I told him that I was looking at the lady at the front desk he was also wondering what was happening but to the end the IHG representative found me another hotel and booked it for me so that I could get somewhere to sleep for the night. My thing is if you are doing a job and you can do it properly or you don't like your job you should find something else to do totally horrible experience I've never had that before I will never forget and I will make sure I tell everyone that I know not to ever book at this hotel ever horrible customer service.

Absolutely love this hotel. This hotel is so convenient to places you will want to go have fun at. While there we visited the Coca Cola factory, museum and other places and from the hotel to these spots it only took us around 15/20 mins…despite the traffic. It’s a store that’s right across the street from where we stayed and that was a big plus just in case you didn’t want to drive anywhere. Despite my check out process with the lady who had poor customer service and a nasty attitude I would definitely stay back at this hotel if I was to come back to Atlanta. My overall experience was an A Plus!!!!!
