Had the pleasure to stay here a month. I would stay again. Clean updated comfortable rooms. Very nice selection of hot breakfast items. I also enjoyed the well serviced coffee bar daily. Wonderful friendly staff. Nice exercise room. Close to Walmart, gas station and interstate as well as many restaurants. Plenty of parking options for buses, work trucks and cars. Great managed hotel.

I showed up to the Holiday Inn and suites. And the desk clerk Mr Santiago was very helpful. He has to be one of the best representatives for this company I have ever seen. When you come to Alva stay at the holiday inn and suites.

My room was clean and extremely comfortable. The dining area was organized and clean. Coffee, hot tea, and cookies were available 24 hours a day. The breakfast options were great! They kept the food hot and full during breakfast hours.

This is the highest rated hotel in the Alva, OK area and as such I expected more. Once I checked in I noticed that the room wasn't as clean as it could be and the bathroom looked as though they only emptied the trash and replaced the towels as there was hair in the sink and tub. When taking a shower the shower head was supposed to be adjustable but didn't so I had to angle my head to get to the main stream just to be able to wash my hair. Also the tub backs up so I felt as though I was wading in an ankle deep stream. Not too much of an issue though breakfast could have been a bit better and offered more selections to include bacon and not just sausage. The real issue was that the staff did not listen to what I was saying and instead of reaching our to the manager or calling me when she got in, like they said they would. I had requested either an extras day put on a separate card or a late check out. They instead went ahead and added the extra day to the current reservation's card which is not what I wanted and just said that they couldn't accommodate me for a late check out, which is fine. I also was not greeted or even acknowledged as a rewards member neither upon arrival, throughout my stay, or even upon checkout. I will only recommend this hotel as it is the only one with the highest rating in the small town, but it failed to meet my expectations of the Holiday Inn brand.

My Dad recently passed and I needed a place to stay while in town. The service desk was helpful in getting my room and my son’s room close together! The room was clean and the breakfast hit the spot. My grandchildren enjoyed a swim at the end of a stressful day!

Hotel staff actually made my visit an excellent one. Courteous and friendly with nice smiles are always a pleasure to be greeted by.
The bed was very comfortable and linens were clean and soft. Bathroom was very clean and supplied with plenty of towels! Temperature of the room was set just perfectly from the moment I stepped into the room. Thank you for providing excellent people to make our stay excellent at your hotel.

Hotel is always clean with friendly staff and quiet nights for sleep. Best hotel option in Alva, OK by a longshot. Is also near a good convenience store which is very, well… convenient!

I booked a king room with a living area, but got a room with a king and a queen bed. I did not need an extra bed. I needed the living room with a door to it and a king bed. Highly disappointed in my experience. The hotel staff was less than competent and did not know what to do or how to correct the room issue because the hotel was full and they had already given away the room I booked to someone else by mistake! I expected them to make it right but they didn't. I didn't even get a credit to my bill for the mix-up and inconvenience.
