After 2 weeks in the Holiday Inn Express, Ranch Drive, Prescott, AZ, l can honestly say "You really do feel smarter about everything, after staying at an Holiday Inn Express!" First of all, my wife booked our King Suite online and received a substantial discount on our room: most weeknights were more reasonable than the older motels downtown. The indoor pool and hot tub were always clean and always stocked with fluffy towels. The fitness room looked nice through the window but we had other priorities. Outdoor patio space was inviting but 3" of snow had us making other choices. The breakfast bar was extensive, extravagant, excellent and expertly executed by a friendly kitchen staff, with plenty of choices and plenty of seating near a well-stocked coffee bar and several monitors broadcasting morning news.

I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The hotel is well maintained with a great staff. Spoke to Jude on the phone and checked out with him , he was fantastic. As well as John, who checked me in. Great place to stay, close to stores restaurants and of course the beautiful surroundings. Will definitely be back to stay.

Quiet_Night

The hotel itself is very nice and we had an oversized King room which met all of our needs. We requested a room away from the highway and didn't hear any traffic noise. |I especially liked the roomy bathroom counter and extra small counter outside of the bathroom where I could do my hair while my husband showered. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the blackout shades were a nice touch, and the breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. The staff was wiping down breakfast tables after each use which I don't often see in other hotels so this was appreciated. The exercise room was above average and the inside pool looked inviting. Unfortunately there were too many people going in and out of their hotel rooms late into the night, so sleep quality wasn't ideal with sound of hotel doors slamming shut. It was a holiday weekend so I don't fault the hotel when some of the customers are less than ideal. But it's back to Airbnb's for us and why the hotel gets an average rating from us.

From the time I entered this facility to the time I left, I was impressed with the cleanliness, size of the room, and quality of staff. The staff helped me several times and directed me to places I wanted to see and how to get there. The breakfast was high quality compared to other motels/ hotels that I have stayed in. The location was perfect and what a joy to find Costco in the back yard with a separate gas fill-up location that meant no waiting in line. Easy in and out to all locations in the city. I will always stay here when visiting Prescott, Az.

Positive: Accommodating staff. Great room with many usb ports and electrical outlets. Shower in accessible room was perfect. Automated curtain closures. Efficient temperature controls. Nice breakfast. Swimming pool & jacuzzi were indoors & heated. Negative: Minor issue was the long distance from elevator to accessible room.

We were very pleased with our stay, so much so, we extended it another day. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious. The lighting was excellent, which is important as you get older for reading. The shower was great, and the bathroom counter was spacious, which is a rarity in a hotel. The fitness center met our needs beautifully. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. There is a lovely little patio in front with a fire on chilly mornings or evenings, and fresh cookies at 6 every evening. Everything possible is done to make you feel welcome and appreciated.

The Holiday Inn Express in Prescott is an excellent place to stay. Our room was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The sheets were amazingly soft. The room was clean and very roomy. I especially appreciated the layout and the areas to place your luggage on the benches rather than typical luggage racks. We had four adults in our room and it didn’t feel crowded at all. I appreciated the pump soaps, lotions, shampoo in the restroom, rather than the little sample size items usually found at other places. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering several choices, including hot items. While I think the property was sold out during our stay (based on the parking lot), it never felt crowded. I will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend it to others. Thank you to the staff for your attention to details. It was noticed and appreciated.

i have never stayed in a HIE property that was this nice. location is great, lobby is beautiful, rooms are spotless. front desk staff is friendly, breakfast attendants were amazing. i would recommend this hotel to anyone staying even remotely close to prescott. i plan to stay here everytime we are in the area.
