The staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled from Canada for a memorial service and it was convenient and close to the venue. Unfortunately the cost at this location had possibly gone up by the time we booked a room. A relative managed to get a better rate by booking a week or two sooner. Not sure why rates changed like that. Breakfast has very good selection of hot and cold foods. Overall the experience was pretty great and would recommend this stay.

Thank you to the front desk staff for being very welcoming and for the hospitality. Your team provides such wonderful service that it puts other 4stars hotels to shame. This hotel started with a very nice young lady checking me in. Was getting ready to leave today and was walking out the door looking at the bill and I said boy that’s expensive for two days and when I looked closer, there was a $250 smoking charge. Anybody that knows me knows that I’ve never smoked in my life. And when I went to the front desk to tell her about it. She just looked at me and said two housekeepers verified. There were smoking in the room and almost said like we saw you smoking in there. Did not want to offer any help just said that’s what the charge is for. I wasn’t going to complain about the heater going to 100° the noise from the road could barely sleep and then also the river next to the building had the room shaking. And I wasn’t going complain about that either. I would avoid this property if your IHG member. I don’t like to write negative things, but they sure did test my integrity to the max.
One other thing, I asked when the cleaning supervisor would be in and she said 830am I waited until 9 PM and she never showed up. Requested a late check out and went back at 11:45 AM. And still no resolution.

Positive: I have stayed here before. The location is convenient, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is also delicious. Negative: Initially, when I got to the hotel, the room was very cold, but I was able to warm it up fairly quickly. I would?ve rather have been on a higher floor than the ground floor. I just feel safer that way.

I can't imagine any way that this hotel could be improved. The check-in was efficient and informative. The room had everything that a traveler could want. The beds were exceedingly comfortable. We liked the fact that there were two types of pillows that were clearly labeled on the pillow cases as soft or firm. The room was clearly well thought out with great lighting, many places to plug in peripherals and USB ports in good locations. There was plenty of space for putting out your luggage and to hang clothing. The bathroom was especially well appointed with terrific lighting and even a night light for finding the room during the night. The choices at breakfast were also excellent, We will definitely stay here in the future

I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work over the last ten years. Location is its biggest upside. When I stayed here in 2019, they were remodeling. I will say, I do like the river next to the hotel. The road noise is loud during the day, and drowns the river noise out though.

Six years later I returned and was very disappointed with the upkeep on the room. The floors were clean, but sticky, the furniture was gross and stained, and the walls dirty.

Every single contact I had with female front desk staff was superiorly negative. The long-haired guy at night was awesome, and very accommodating. But those other ladies, yikes! Whether by phone or in person, they were just nasty to us. As if I was begging for food, or stealing from them. All I wanted to do was check in!

Staff alone motivates me to skip this property in the future, not the mention the poor upkeep.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We found we had extra clean towels for our stay. The included breakfast was well stocked and had plenty of hot coffee. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Kids above us were a bit rambunctious but the front desk handled it perfectly, The kids settled down & we had no other issues after that

Location and Safety:
The area around the hotel is not ideal. While it’s accessible, safety is a concern, and we wouldn’t recommend this location if security is a priority for you.

Reception Service:
The reception staff were neither particularly friendly nor unpleasant. Service was neutral, leaving much to be desired in terms of hospitality.

Cleanliness:
The hallways and floors were notably unclean, which was disappointing and gave an overall poor impression of maintenance standards.

Rooms:
The room itself was average—nothing exceptional but functional. However, don’t expect any extras or luxuries.

Breakfast:
We strongly advise skipping the breakfast. The quality didn’t justify the additional cost.

Overall, this hotel may suffice for a short stay, but the surrounding area, lack of cleanliness, and underwhelming service may make it worth exploring other options.
