My experience with Holiday Inn hotels has always been excellent and this was not the exception. The staff was very helpful and treated me with respect. The room was clean and peaceful. I got a great night sleep. the next day the breakfast was great. Everything was available, all options full and the breakfast service lady was very attentive. The only thing guess have to be aware of, is the entrance from the road. It is a busy road, and you have to be very careful. Other than that, the Hotel and their staff are 100% amazing. I may have to go back for business next month to Georgia. I already know where I will be staying. 🙂

I stayed here for a week while working in Buckhead area. This is probably one of the overall cleanest Holiday Inn's I have stayed in. The cleaning staff did a great job of keeping the common areas clean. The breakfast was hot and fresh every morning and had a great variety. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful while checking in. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Atlanta.

Great place to spend the night as we headed north for the holidays. Friendly staff and the hotel remodel is beautiful. Great job!
My only complaint is not really a complaint given most HIE are like this. The free breakfast was very meh. Eggs weren't great, the bread was stale, etc. We tend to grab a coffee and some yogurt, then head out somewhere else for a late breakfast. Unfortunately, this is the standard for most HIE stays, so it's expected.
Definitely recommend this property, though.

I have traveled to ATL with my mother, who is elderly and visually impaired. She has a sister who lives in a senior community nearby. We have paid high dollar for 'handicap accessible' rooms in other places, only to discover super-high beds, low toilets, and maybe one grab bar in the shower. Finally, we have found a hotel and room that suited our needs just fine - low beds, high toilets, plenty of grab bars in the bathroom! And for the most part, the hotel was quiet - only occasional traffic noise if someone revved an engine, but that didn't happen all that often. There were only a couple of minor considerations overlooked: We had to get to the room by way of two heavy glass doors - very difficult to do when you are pushing a wheelchair or bellhop cart. I wish they were automatic or sliding instead. My mother is short, so she could not reach the sink and soap (bolted to the vanity) from her wheelchair. Finally, she is also lactose-intolerant and it would have been nice to have had egg options on Sunday morning that didn't contain cheese. These are minor issues, however, and we still made it just fine. I'm just thrilled that we found a hotel and room that made her comfortable!!!

Super place to stay. Very nice person checked me in and explained the layout in the 1st floor rooms. The housekeeping staff do a super job!! 5 star service. I rested better at this facility than any other. I believe the beds are very comfortable which was nice and appreciated. The food for breakfast was very fresh and the dining room clean. I believe the guests should tip the person taking care of the breakfast but many don't. The person I encountered never took a break and provided everything with a pleasant approach. I believe this facility has very good management and I will be sure to stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel each month for the past 3 months while in Atlanta going to doctor appointments. The staff is always Great! and the accommodations are very good. The breakfast is always great! I just wish they had regular scrambled eggs as well. but it has always been a great breakfast!! Look forward to staying again the next three months we have to be in Atlanta.

I really try to share the positive in this journey of ours, but sometimes, it's necessary to highlight the challenges and injustices faced by the disabled community every single day. This is how we create change. ||With my son’s permission, I'm sharing our experience, after receiving no response from IHG Hotels & Resorts. ||Please note that I filed a complaint with guest relations. I shared the experience and requested to connect with the regional office. I was informed I needed to start with the hotel directly. I was told I should expect a response within 48 hours. It's been over 90 hours hours at the time of this post. ||Last Wednesday, we traveled to Atlanta for my son’s clinical trial appointment on Thursday morning. ||We drove from North Carolina, arriving around 8:30pm. We checked in, got to our room, and were immediately disappointed. The bed had a boxed-in frame, preventing the use of a Hoyer lift to transfer my son onto the bed. (The lift's legs need to fit under the bed frame to function.)||We've stayed at this hotel before without issue, but during recent "upgrades," the hotel clearly overlooked the importance of accessibility and inclusivity for all guests. This was far from an upgrade - it was a step backward. ||At the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta NE off Clairmont owned by IHG Hotels & Resorts, we received no real support after requesting on-call maintenance to resolve the issue. The front desk staff was as helpful as possible given their limitations. Management instead offered to call an employee who could “help lift your son into bed,” but they wouldn’t arrive until 10:30 p.m. because they lived far away. 🤨 Are they suggesting the hotel is willing to assume responsibility if something goes wrong or if he is injured? And yet, they refused to modify the frame to accommodate the lift, even though they marketed the room as accessible and received payment for the room. ||Those who know us, know we tend to go with the flow. We adapt the best we can. My son said, "I guess I'll have to sleep in my chair tonight." This young man has NEVER slept in his chair.| |Ultimately, we called Dekalb County Fire Rescue Department to assist not once, but twice. First to transfer my son into a bed and again to get up in the morning, ensuring we arrived on time for the appointment. (Thank you all for being kind and helpful). Thankfully, we had the Perfect Lift which made for a smooth and safe process. ||We made it work, but this is far from acceptable. ||By not meeting the needs of the community served and providing an accessible room, IHG Hotels & Resorts stripped my son of his independence. He lost the ability to decide what time to go to bed, when to use the restroom during the night, and when to wake up. They created an unsafe environment in the event of an emergency. ||We pulled the fire and rescue team away from their community to assist with an issue that could have been avoided completely. ||My son, at just 18 years old, expressed feeling embarrassed as other guests overheard our conversations and saw us call for emergency assistance. ||All of this is a direct result of IHG Hotels & Resorts choosing to disregard ADA compliance and neglecting the needs of the disabled community. ||We are not alone in this experience. Many face similar struggles every day.||My hope is that by sharing our experience, IHG Hotels & Resorts will be open to communication and collaboration in making the appropriate changes in ALL of their hotels and in the process creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. I hope we can work together and create the expectation of all hotel chains. || Let's create waves of change together.

I would like to shout out front staff personal Brenda, she was just so helpful and such a blessing. She went over and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of. She is a Rock Star and all the staff are rock stars. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
