We had a great stay at the Inn! Only a short drive to Columbus. Granville was a nice and quiet town. Our room was comfy and I loved the nostalgia of the time. You can absolutely feel the history of the place. We would definitely go back.

We stayed in the Granger room, the largest. Amenities as described. It was a comfortable room and bed, very clean. Appropriately updated for the age and style.

Even though winter, I could see the grounds are well-kept, I would expect a lovely garden in summer.

We stayed one day for a local visit, but our shower was very nice, we had ample room to enjoy both in the room, and the porch.
Modern LG television worked for streaming my desired shows, both with smart TV apps and screen sharing from PC. (My apple phone didn’t want to play with the LG tv)

The tavern on site appears to currently only be open for special occasions, and was not open.
I highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

The room was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. It would have been nice to have hangers that could hang pants and maybe a small dresser. Also, the continental breakfast could be opened at 7am instead of 8 am. Great location to all of Granville and Denison. Thank you!! I'll be back.

I took my aunt and cousin and his 2 friends here for the ghostly experience, I have heard so many things about room number 9 and that's the room that we had. Sad to say i was hoping to give my cousin a fun experience but there were no ghostly activity at all. Not even from the cat! Pretty disappointed about that because they wanted to have some kind of experience and we have heard so many stories 😕 However, the rooms were very unique 👌 and the service was good. We did get a tour and it was nice seeing everything. I'm happy with the overall experience though 😌

I absolutely loved staying here. The exterior has a southern charm feeling to it. My mom and I loved the courtyard and flower arrangements. The decor is a mix of original flooring and furniture pieces mixed with modern fixtures. The staff is phenomenal and very kind. Arleena(sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) gave us a tour around the hotel and shared fascinating stories. I highly recommend!!

I love the Buxton Inn. Wonderful amenities, bed is very comfy, exquisite shower and tile floor. Breakfast was excellent. The service was impeccable and very friendly! Would definitely recommend and stay again. If possible would love to have robes in the room.

Recommend for excellent value, high convenience. Best feature is many unique rooms in different houses. Go to website and pick out fun room, or if too many choices, ask hostess for best match. Easy, interesting walk to vibrant downtown and college campus. Buxton offers charming 4-star accommodations for comparison, with top-notch experience and history.

Was an ok experience. Paid 200 per night for nearly no services.
Booked the room for a place to stay while we visited my wife's parents.
Nobody told us there would be no on property services, ie restaurant or bar. The ice machine was covered up.
The path ways were snow and ice covered.
I do facilities management, and I recommend they just shut down for 2 months or whatever...stop pretending you are open, cause you are not.
