Excellent stay if you understand this is not a “normal” hotel. It’s part of Hilton’s timeshare program that rents rooms with no sales presentation. There’s no restaurant, daily cleaning, etc. but a wonderful place to stay with exceptionally clean facilities and an incredible staff. Never have I stayed at a place with such helpful and friendly employees. Our suite was immaculate and every need was met with a smile (extra towels, trash pickup). Security patrols the parking lot. It’s in the city so would I walk around at night - no. Cvs and McDonald’s right across the street. Speedway is noisy but ceiling fans provided white noise. Nice pool and games in lobby - large Jenna, pool table, checkers, tabletop shuffleboard, air hockey.

Large suites in a busy commercial area. Others said it’s a sketchy area, but it’s not, just urban, with a Whole Foods a few minutes away. Very satisfied. Views of the mountains, and centrally located. Not a spa, but a good hotel with kitchenettes. We’re on the third floor, and the street noise is minimal or non existent.

I would give them zero stars, but TripAdvisor does not allow it. Hence the one star rating. Very disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Vacation Club in Tucson, AZ. First off, we booked a one bedroom suite for a one-week stay, but were given a standard hotel room without a balcony. We asked if they could give us the type of room we had booked, but they said they did not have any left. The hotel was about half empty, so we know they were lying to us. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom did shut off and made noise all night long. We had some uninvited guests during our stay which turned out to be cockroaches. The front desk was no help with any issues—we wanted some paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags sent to our room, but the front desk said that they do not have the staff to send it up. I went down to pick up the items and it turns out that the front desk person couldn’t leave the front desk because he was engrossed in eating his take out pizza. Lastly, the location where the hotel was located was not very safe. If you valued your life, you would not go out after dark. Needless to say, we will not be staying there again and will think twice before we book another stay at a Hilton property.

I was invited to my auntie's wedding celebration. The place was beautiful, the toilet was nice and decorated for those who liked the toilet's selfies. The service was good, they were polite and did everything on time. We had a great time there.

Gigantic room but overall mediocre experience. It's right on Speedway Blvd so the road noise is significant especially on Saturday night. The staff made you feel like you were imposing on them... like you welcomed yourself into their home. Room was clean but shower was out of soap; they only had one bottle left at the front desk.

My Go-To Stay in Tucson!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Varsity Clubs Tucson! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.

The game room and lending library were fantastic, providing plenty of entertainment options, FIBER OPTIC WIFI, and the fitness center—with a Peloton!—was such a great perk. The pool and hot tub were crystal clear and hands down the cleanest I’ve ever used. The BBQ grills were a thoughtful touch that made my stay feel even more like home.

What truly sets Varsity Clubs apart, though, is the amazing and welcoming staff. Dan and Amanda were a joy to talk to, and everyone at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. April did a phenomenal job cleaning the room and even checked in to make sure I had everything I needed—such thoughtful service!

I will definitely be back again. This is my go-to spot in Tucson, and I can’t recommend it enough!

There were a few issues upon check-in which were not handled the best, and unfortunately the weekend staff couldn't address the issue. I moved on, and the room was great! Nice, roomy, clean. Great A/C. Seemed pretty quiet for the most part with the occasional loud motor from a car along Speedway. Great sunsets from my balcony. I would most likely stay here again.

Excellent, we would give it 20 stars! We ended up with a whole apartment! 2 bed and 2 bath. Very nice and clean, balcony, Free laundry, nice pool and hot tub.
