Had a wonderful time February 2025! The location of the resort was perfect for our purpose. This resort is at the edge of town. Hilton has another in the middle of town which is also great however we wanted to be away from the busyness this time. Easy to get in and out of, far enough out of town to avoid the traffic but close enough to get there quickly.

We had a two bedroom with sunset views, AMAZING! We love this area of the county! Being from Michigan we don't have mountains like this. I would be nice to upgrade the rooms. The decor is a bit dated but still very clean and spacious. It would also be nice to have an on-site restaurant.

BEAUTIFUL view and great service!!! However, rooms do need some updating as they are very outdated- blown light bulbs in washroom, no main light in rooms, closet door gave me a really hard time opening/shutting as it didn’t slide on the track properly, mirror light didn’t work, etc.
On the positive side, each room is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Both the bathroom & kitchen were fully stocked which was very nice to see. Lots of extra bedding/towels/clothes stored away for your use if needed.

The hottub was great! Especially after the long hikes on the red rocks- definitely made it our stay super relaxing.

I’m disappointed to say I was let down by my room experience at the Summit, but the staff are all exceptional. The bad: as you can see in the photos, we had issues with the quality of the our room. We had the following issues:

- The carpet in the room looked as if an animal had tried to claw its way into the bathroom. The carpet was frayed and missing near the seam with the bathroom tile, and the carpet on the other side of the room near the kitchenette had pulled away from the tile and my daughter actually stepped on a carpet staple that caused her to bleed.

- The shower door in the bathroom would not close completely, and every time we took a shower the floor would get were because the door wouldn’t shut.

- The water pressure in the shower would go from barely there, to shooting out like a hose with the kink in it. The water had to be turned all the way up to hot for it to be warm enough for a shower.

- The TV in the room was dark on one side of the screen. We had to turn the brightness setting all the way up to be able even watch it.

- The sink in the kitchenette would not drain properly

- The toilet stopped working and we had to have a staff member come and fix it.

- There was standing water in the dishwasher, possibly related to the drainage issue in the sink.

We stayed for 5 days, and ended up ending our trip early to go stay in a different Hilton property.

The good:
- Every interaction with the staff was absolutely exceptional. Super friendly, helpful, and apologetic for the issues we dealt with. I’ve rarely had that level of service from the staff at a resort, and their attentiveness and kindness to my child overrode any issues we had with the room.

- The location is absolutely perfect for seeing Sedona. It’s close enough to all the trailheads and restaurants, but in a very quiet part of town where it felt super relaxing.

- The heated pools and hot tubs made it perfect for being refreshed after a long day of hikes. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the beauty of the area was really visible from the resort. We met some great people and enjoyed our time, most of which was done outside of our room.

As a Hilton honors member, I wouldn’t let the room issues stop me from booking, but I’d take a close look at the unit before unpacking all of my family’s stuff. The location and the staff are worth the trip to the Summit.

My boyfriend and I had a good stay at the Sedona Summit this January. Check-in was a smooth process. The location is lovely and not too far from the walking trails (if you are a walker, you will enjoy this facility). The pools were open, and there were ice machines throughout the facility. The room was clean when we arrived. The furniture and decor appear outdated, but that may be the look they are going for. My suite had a refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The bathroom had a large tub and a stand-in shower and was equipped with everything we needed, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, toilet paper, and tissues. There were extra comforters and sheets in the closet and a safe. We were on the first floor and were never bothered by any noise. The balcony was also pretty neat and cozy. I forgot to take any pictures, but the pictures you see online are what you get.

We stayed here with the family in a 2 bedroom master suite. The layout is very nice, full kitchen was perfect for our needs, but it could be improved as it’s starting to show its age.

The service was good, people friendly, and hot tub was great after a day of hiking the red rocks. I’d stay again but would ask for a unit with a view.

Updated tvs would have been nice so that we could stream Netflix from our devices.

The room was great. They gave us dishes to cook with. So much space.
The rooms need some update for sure. WIFI sucks. The shower was huge. The location so much to capture. They tried to sell us timeshare was super annoying. But we enjoyed 2 free meals if we went.. . The activity that this hotel offers were so cute and neat. The lady is amazing. We also enjoyed the gym soon big. Our room we're super clean. Any request we asked for they were more than happy to fulfill it. Will be back for sure

Our queen studio was good size and nice little kitchen. We were right by the adult only pool/hot tub. So relaxing. This place is absolutely gorgeous. The infinity hot tub has spectacular views. We didn’t get to take advantage of all this resort has to offer, but hopefully we’ll be back!|Check in was a breeze and they got us in early.

It's very convenient to get to most places and it's so quiet. You can literally go outside once it's dark and look up at the hundreds of stars. While we were not in a remodeled room it was still fine. I needed a different pillow and that one worked much better. The pools and jacuzzi's were great although we didn't get into the pool it was a bit too chilly for us but the kids sure loved it...we got lucky because it was warmer than normal.
