Recently stayed at the new updated villas and they lived up to the photo renderings! Highly recommend upgrading to the newer ones if you can. From previous reviews I was hesitant to stay here, but it exceeded my expectations . Rooms were bright and clean, Location of hotel is shuttle distance away from old town Scottsdale, and staff was super helpful! Special shout outs to Melissa, Logan, and Philippe for making our stay so comfortable.

Only reason why I gave the rooms a 4 star was due to the dishwasher machine not working, and access to the separate villa pool being under construction.

We hope to visit again!

I’m sure this hotel is lovely, but I’ll never get to experience it for myself because the sales team handling my wedding room block operates like scam artists. They convinced me to sign a contract committing to 15 nights in their highest-rate room, promising that this would unlock a 20% discount for any additional rooms booked under my block.

After I signed the legally binding contract—one that explicitly outlined the concessions agreed upon via email and which I have email proof of (and which the hotel has admitted to)—the hotel informed me that these concessions "don’t actually exist." Instead, they attempted to force me into purchasing 10 additional rooms, despite our already agreed-upon terms. It also took me calling them out that the 20% didn’t work in order for them to admit it. I don’t know if they thought I wouldn’t notice that a 20% off link doesn’t actually work when I’m inviting 50 people to come stay at the resort or where their heads are at.

Karen, their head of sales, was particularly condescending, accusing me of "calling all around" when I had only reached out to the general manager to resolve the issue. She even went so far as to offer to call my mother—completely inappropriate and unprofessional. my mother is in fact, a diamond member and highly recommended the Hilton as the perfect place for my family and guests, all flying from Canada, to celebrate the wedding.

A wedding should be a joyful experience, not a battle with a corporate entity trying to pull a bait-and-switch. I wouldn’t trust this team with something as important as a wedding, and I’d strongly caution anyone considering booking here.

The rooms are old. Clean, but old.
Literally anyone taller than 5’2” is going to be ducking under the tshower heads that also don’t actually “adjust” between the two settings.
Beyond that… my wife and I asked THREE TIMES for foam pillows to replace the beat-down flat and absolutely terrible feather pillows… once very early in the morning, once before we left for lunch, and again after we came home from dinner and socializing… and, for three different reasons, we never received them. Seriously….. nobody in the entire building has a key to get me a pillow at night Hope there’s never a fire wherever they’re stored! 100% unacceptable for a “Hilton” property.
The saving grace of the hotel is that it’s near decent restaurants and Camelback Mountain. That’s all. If you have a car… stay elsewhere.

The so called resort and villas was over exaggeration and very disappointing experience. The room accommodation was comparable to a budget motels. The third floor rooms were out dated and had old wooden slats panel ceiling that had bunch of wholes. Throughout our stays, I heard noise inside the ceiling during the night. This was not just my room, but also my friend and his wife heard the same noise as well. The front desk staff was unprofessional and unaccommodating to me and my friends. The pictures of the property on the Hilton website and the actual facility wasn't comparable to me. I expected a resort and villas level of accommodation, however, it was utterly a converted apartment (?). I was very disappointment that this was a Hilton facility.

We reserved a certain room. Didn't get it. Our room looked like it has been patched up and fixed up by some sloppy repairman. Room looked old and outdated. Bed was kinda firm. Pillows were ok...ended up getting a sore neck. Some of the wall outlets didn't work. Had to make coffee on the floor. This hotel looked nothing like the photos. Best looking part of the hotel was def the lobby. Would not go back.

The location is good. Customer service was fantastic! I tried to order room service the first night but they never answered the phone. When I went to the restaurant the food was fantastic. Rooms were old and the beds are terrible. Pillows were flat and my bathroom was exceptionally old. Probably wouldn't stay there again especially for the price.

My husband made an online reservation for the two of us and our infant baby. We were on a late flight and arrived to the hotel around 11pm. When we got there they told us they would not be able to provide a pack and play for our baby. Apparently they have them but the housekeeping staff were gone and are the only ones who know where they are kept. Since it was late and all stores were closed they recommended we sleep with him in the bed. We didn’t feel comfortable with that as our baby was only 3 months old at the time. We explained the situation and asked for any solutions but this hotel couldn’t provide any. My husband even suggested that they call another Hilton and ask for another Pack and Play. They responded that they are not associated with the nearby Hilton. My husband decided to call them himself and explained the situation. Their staff was very helpful and allowed us to borrow the Pack and Play for the night. We understand that we’re not guaranteed a Pack and Play or crib when staying at a hotel but was frustrating we couldn’t use it simply because the stay didn’t know where they were. This also was not our first time flying with a baby and doing a late check in at a hotel. It was also frustrating with the lack of empathy from the staff. With that being said we’re really grateful for the other Hilton and how they went above and beyond.

Service from Ryan (I think?) at the pool bar was second to none, but the rooms were ok. It was clean, but the details were off. The shower had a cracked floor, dingy grout, and was missing a dispenser. I'd go back if we knew the bartender would be there. It's great when you find someone who genuinely cares about every single visitor!
