We had an exceptional week at the Hilton Ocean Oak mainly because of the wonderful staff! 5 star hospitality from everyone. My daughter got sick and they brought her a balloon and get well card signed by everyone. Incredibly thoughtful!
The rooms are immaculate- comfortable beds and amazing showers! The pool and beach area are wonderful and very family friendly!
We will definitely be back!

Great place to vacation! We loved using the heated, outdoor pool and hot tub despite the outdoor temps being in the 40’s. |Friendly staff and immaculate rooms with top of the line appliances. Despite being on the first floor we could see the pool and ocean. We also could not hear the people above us accept for the occasional dining room chair scraping on the tile floor.|Great location on the beach and we loved the balcony view of the Atlantic from the living room and master bedroom. It was worth using more timeshare points to face the |water.|The concierge team was also incredibly helpful with recommendations and reservations. Looking forward to coming back year after year.

The property was great, staff were mostly friendly (but not all). My reason for giving a 2 star review is prior to my booking 4 nights, Feb 10-14, 2025, I chatted on the Hilton Honors website to ask about the parking fee. I found one site that indicated parking was complimentary, and another said it cost $20/night. So I went to the chat. Theresa told me there is no parking fee. I booked the 4 nights, and my wife and I stayed there. When I got home and checked the invoice I saw parking was charged, $80 for the 4 nights. I reached out to this property and my email was ignored. I tried a second time, again ignored. Finally I found another avenue thru Hilton. I got a quick response, but they forwarded my inquiry to the Ocean Oak Resort. They again refuse to address my issue other than saying there is a parking fee. I provided a copy of the chat that proves I was told there would be no parking fee.||||I may sound petty by worrying about $80 when I spent $1600 for the 4 nights. But it is the principal. I see dishonesty at this resort. I recommend staying elsewhere. And I'll never to back again.

Beautiful and peaceful location. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and professional.
We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, convenient to everything yet peaceful enough to feel like a true retreat. The sunsets from the property were simply breathtaking.

This resort is small and expensive, with limited rooms and additional charges for multiple cars, which seems unreasonable. While Hilton Head is a fantastic, family-friendly destination, this particular Hilton location falls short of expectations.||The parking situation is inconvenient, with a poorly designed garage and overflow parking located across the street. Additionally, there seems to be little room for expansion, and customer service varies depending on which staff member you encounter.||The biggest disappointment was the lack of consideration for families traveling together. Despite visiting for my elderly mother’s birthday, our group was placed in separate towers without any apparent strategic effort to keep us close. Since oceanfront rooms are limited to one tower, a better approach would be to review reservations on the day of arrival and attempt to place families in closer proximity whenever possible.||While the resort’s layout is fixed, improvements in customer service and logistical planning could enhance the guest experience. Hilton has other properties on the island that may provide a better stay. If you’re considering this location for a family trip, proceed with caution and be prepared for extra expenses. The resort condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were large and wonderful. The only issue was that the parking lot was full of ice and snow. It was very dangerous to walk or drive in the parking lot. Ice on the roof was melting and falling, randomly, and could easily hit someone walking by in the head. The view of the pools and beach was lovely.

The salesman trying to sale us a time share, was rude and argumentative the entire second half of our presentation. I was actually open to the concept but his demeanor shut that down. Then when he presented the numbers, the math didn't add up. I'm in a job where I have to think
fast to save my company money. Do not get sucked in by the rooms and location. I would suggest you read reviews before going to a presentation to know the proper questions to ask. The guy threw a deliberate insult at us then came back to try again, dude....

We are owners here and book a week each year in the shoulder season, spring or fall. We spent a wonderful week at this well equipped, family friendly resort with our daughter and grand daughter. The two bedroom, two bathroom rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped with everything you could need. We noticed that the living room furniture had been upgraded. There are large balconies and there honestly isn't a bad view in the resort. We love the two pools and used the family pool this year with our grand daughter. The beach is a short walk down a mat lined path and we appreciate the showers and hose after a day on the beach. The property and grounds are very well maintained.||The staff is friendly and professional and we like being able to text if we need something in our room, very convenient without having to call or go to the lobby. We unfortunately had some cool days but discovered some wonderful toddler friendly activities nearby (recommended to us at check in with our 2 year old grand daughter) including Lawton Stables and the Sandbox Children's Museum. Both were very close to the resort and well worth the time and money.||Ocean Oak is one of our favorite HGV resorts.
