All of the employees at the hotel were wonderful, from front desk staff, to the kitchen and dining staff, and especially housekeeping. The building, and the owners choice to let it fall into disrepair, was frustrating. Broken shower fixtures, water coming through ceiling lights, broken curtain pulls, corroded toilet seats, broken window safety stops. On top of all the noise coming through single pane glass, we would choose a different place. The professional and courteous staff do their absolute best, but the physical building is not worth the Hilton name.

We have stayed here often but this is probably last time. They asked us if we wanted room serviced next day and after being out all day come back to unclean room, no coffee, water. They did quick refresh. After having to go to desk to get their attention. Breakfast was barely ok with dried egg, sausage, freezer to table French toast, adequate cereal and yogurt. Try another and see.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Beaverton/Portland over Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, our four-day stay (Wednesday through Saturday) was riddled with issues, and the level of service was far below the standards I expect from Hilton.

Room and Service Issues:

Our room was not cleaned or serviced a single time during our stay. No fresh towels, no bed made, no toiletries replenished, no garbage taken out, and no coffee refilled.
Despite reporting this issue to the front desk, nothing was done to address it.

Customer Service:

The service was unfriendly across the board. Not a single staff member greeted us with a smile, made eye contact, or extended even a basic “How are you?” or “Have a nice day.” This made the entire experience feel unwelcoming.

Facility Problems:

The lobby smelled strongly of rotten fish during our stay, which was extremely off-putting.
The thermostat in our room did not work, making it difficult to adjust the temperature for comfort.
The carpets were stained, adding to the overall impression of poor cleanliness and maintenance.

This stay was a far cry from the Hilton brand's promise to make guests' experiences "better and brighter." We chose this hotel expecting a pleasant and comfortable visit, but instead, we encountered indifference, poor service, and a facility that appeared neglected.

I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone based on my experience, and I hope management takes immediate action to address these issues for future guests. Hilton can and should do better.

Honestly most of the staff are very nice, but there are a couple of people there that have no business being in the service industry, much better off being in a factory as a line worker truly so they don’t have to interact with people. Disingenuous js any professionalism shown by a couple of the staff members including the assistant manager. I’m guessing it’s because they are not happy with themselves. The other staff members were truly delightful. The one staff members created a fire hazard blockage in the hallway and I got injured and I informed the manager, and really was waiting to see if the Injury healed before taking any legal action but what I wanted the most was an apology and there just is any moral dignity to provide one. The injury has gotten worse and it’s been exasperated even further. Im glad to not stay there and leave this review which is well deserved. I’m

Nice stay, very friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, expected more because we paid for it ahead of time, but it was okay and the service from the staff at breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again.

Staff ignored a long line of people as they took a phone call that appears to be personal. The room would have been nice if it had been properly cleaned, but I found some clothing items from another guest. Miserly guest amenities without a breakfast included.

Arrived late, tired and not feeling well. Booked because of windows. When I got there it was outdated, but clean. A lot of noise between rooms and when I went to go to bed the window would not open. Since it was late and there was a better room nearby I told them I was leaving and wanted a refund. The desk clerk said okay and she would tell the manager. I even received a phone call to let me know. They NEVER refunded my money. They should have refunded me as requested and they left me a voicemail about getting a refund, because I only had a voicemail and not a refund promise in writing, they got away with keeping my money.
