My wife and I had to lay over in Phoenix when our plane broke, making us miss a connection. AA put is up here for the night. Room was clean and spacious. Convenient to airport with shuttle. Very typical Garden Inn. Breakfast was better than most business travel hotels but not included, of course. It's been a couple years since I stayed at a Garden Inn so I was surprised they had moved to buffet breakfast, though you can still order a la carte. Good buffet.

Had to call multiple times to get anyone to answer just to explain to me how to catch the shuttle. Seems like they could have conveyed that information via the message I had to listen to telling me how (un)important my call was while I was on extended hold. Bed was stiff. HVAC unit was raucous. Cable setup was late 90โ€™s style. Coffee wasnโ€™t good. Thereโ€™s literally nothing within walking distance and the neighborhood seems a bit sketchy for hoofing it anyways. At lease American Airlines didnโ€™t put me up in a sketchy MOtel, but I wish theyโ€™d have chosen better digs.

We were booked here after we missed our connecting flight. Check-in wasn't at seamless as we had hoped, we first got the wrong room as our keys didn't work, so we had to go back down and have them fix it, which they ended up booking us into another room than the original one. They did give us breakfast vouchers, which was kind. The room was spacious, and clean. The bed wasn't super comfortable, a springy mattresses, so I didn't sleep well, and woke up a little sore. We did not have a great view from the room, but that's okay. We were provided meal vouchers as well by the airline, so we were able to eat lunch at the hotel without issue. If you're looking for a stay near the airport with amenities such as a gym, room service, a restaurant and bar, and a pool, then I would definitely recommend this place, otherwise if you're in town for something else I would book closer to downtown area or a resort.

You can reach the hotel easily via the (free) skylink train from the airport. From there it is a 15min walk.

The customer service was excellent. The gym was also well equipped and the rooms were large and clean.

We were put up for the night by the airline because of a cancellation and a rebook for the following day. The service and staff were excellent, running around trying to help everyone with a good attitude even though there were a LOT of people from our flight who were reserved at this hotel. The downside of this place......it was under construction so the hallways were a mess, the ice machine apparently was leaking all over the ground as the floor was wet which was probably because the hallways of this hotel must of been 85 degrees. We were on one of the top floors so I understand that it's hard for an AC unit to keep up when it's 100+ degrees outside. Thankfully, the room was ice cold which was a plus.

The hotel and room are fantastic! Options in the little market area for when you arrive late are varied and decent enough when in a pinch (wine is available also if you prefer a light dinner ๐Ÿ˜‰). As a single traveler for work purposes, I admit I won't be taking a late night stroll through this neighborhood. There aren't many options for food in the area which makes the Bar & Grill within the hotel super convenient. I was comp'd the breakfast buffet and it was a good step up from a Continental spread with eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles alongside the typical Continental spread. I should also add that they are renovating but nothing has directly affected my personal stay but maybe call to assure any changes for your personal visit.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! MY DOG NEARLY OVERDOSED AT THIS PROPERTY. My dog collapsed and we found questionable substances in our ADA hotel room were my dog collapsed. Thankfully VEG saved her life because phoneix is known for thier drug problem and see this happen to dogs all the time. Horrible experience and the hotel hasn't even given us a Call to handle this matter. They charged me extra to move rooms because I wouldn't stay in the same room that almost killed my dog. I'm not stupid to take her back to the same room. Also I paid extra for a " pet friendly hotel". And my dog nearly died. My children picked up the "drugs" off the floor to save the other dog from ingesting it and risked there own life. I am beyond traumatized from this experience and just disappointed at management for their lack of empathy and follow up. Corporate has my number if they want to talk. I am not talking with hotel management they had 2 weeks to address this and they failed.

Close to the airport ( they have a free shuttle) restaurant on site. The staff was great, pleasant to deal with. There's a gym & pool on-site as well. Free parking at this location as well.
