Check in was easy. My wife went up to the room while I got the luggage and called me to report that one of the beds wasn’t made. I went to the desk and told the front desk. They changed our room to one on the same floor. He was thinking ahead and put us on the upper floor because there was a large group of boys there for a game. My cart turned over as I was leaving the elevator and housekeeping helped me get our bags to our room. The beds were comfortable. A refrigerator and microwave were in the room. The room was clean, however, there was a slight cigarette smell in the room. There is a bar downstairs where you can get hot food and drinks. The bartender who both my wife and I enjoyed talking to was very nice and attentive to our needs.

Positive: I was expecting a bargain hotel when I booked it. It was very comfortable and clean, had more emenities than I could have expected and the location for what I wanted was perfect. Negative: $18 breakfast. There were plenty of local places to choose from but with the weather as it was it would have been nice to have a reasonable option in house.

I visit the Milford area every 3 to 4 months to visit family and I try and bounce between this hotel and another one.. this one had a renovation I believe a little less or a little more than a year ago looks absolutely gorgeous the front desk reception area. The people are always very welcoming and friendly. The beds are very comfortable. The showers are very hot. this is a great location. I’ve never had an issue or a complaint about this hotel ever I always look forward to my returns.

I’ve stayed here many times. It’s a great place if you’re traveling between NY and Boston. The service is always outstanding. With the breakfast buffet, and dinner menu at night, there’s no reason to order out. Anytime I needed something or had a question about the surrounding area, the staff always had an answer. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The grounds are always landscaped and in great condition. There’s no reason to stay anywhere else in Milford. Oh, it’s also PET FRIENDLY!!!

Close to I-95. Relatively easy access from the highway. Renovated in Feb 2024 - the lobby is very nice but the age of the hotel still shows through a bit in the rooms (although there are some nice modern touches like a very secure charging port and a Keurig coffee maker). There were two upholstered, comfortable chairs In the room - a wing back one and a swivel desk chair. We stayed two nights in 309, a double Queen room that was slightly larger than the others. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower combo. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Immaculately clean and neat, and our bathroom had an EXHAUST FAN! (That is rare in hotel
construction.). Reasonable price, friendly staff, near both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.
We didn’t buy the extra breakfast, but it looked really nice, and the serving area was spiffy.
