This was our first stay at this hotel. Some of the reviews were all over the place. I believe there was renovation in the past but everything was great for us. They give $10 breakfast (per person) credit to me as a diamond member. The breakfast buffet was $18, I think, per person but I chose to order off the menu. The prices were then much more reasonable. I was able to order French toast and bacon for about $8, within the credit that they give. Another day I ordered 2 eggs, bacon, and grits and stayed within the credit allowed. I was able to make toast at no charge.

Rooms are large and everything is clean. The housekeepers and maintenance staff seem to be excellent at their jobs.

My husband and I come here every year for an event and will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel with my two kids the first weekend of November for a USTA tennis tournament. Upon checkin, the front desk gave us free coupons for the breakfast buffet. We were told the buffet opened at 7am on weekends so Saturday morning, I sent my daughter down to eat breakfast at 7. When I came downstairs with my son to get coffee, the waitress handed me a bill. I gave the waitress the breakfast coupon and she told the breakfast buffet didn’t open until 7:30am. She told me that the free breakfast was down the hall in the conference rooms not in the usual, common breakfast area. There were no signs in the hotel saying the breakfast my daughter was eating was al a carte. We had to leave for the tennis courts by 7:15am so this put us in a time crunch. I explained the confusion with the breakfast buffet communication by the front desk to the ladies working the breakfast and asked them if they would accept the breakfast coupon since my daughter only had a waffle. We were told by the front desk breakfast opened at 7am. The breakfast staff told me there was nothing they could do and handed me the bill for $22! I asked them why I was being charged for the buffet if it didn’t open until 7:30. Also, this was the adult buffet price, not the kids. They didn’t respond. I asked them a second time, “How can we make this right?” Again, I was met with a blank stare. The staff told us they were sorry, but their hands were tied, there was nothing they could do for us. We couldn’t wait for the 7:30 buffet to open, so I paid $22 for a waffle and asked for a to-go box. The staff working at this hotel do not ascribe to the Hilton values posted by their elevators.

This hotel stay was very disappointing. Our room was NEVER serviced - no fresh towels, bed never made, etc. Breakfast was not complementary even though I am a Hilton Honors member. A birthday party was going on outside which was extremely loud and kids were running in and out of the pool area which left water everywhere.

The main reason I booked this hotel was because of the in house bar and grille as listed on the website. Come to find out while checking in that the haven’t had a chef in 3 months and due to that there is no lunch or dinner service. I had to speak to 3 people to figure this out as most the staff members didn’t really have an idea why just a flat out “no lunch or dinner”. This should be listed on their website and food should be take down as an amenity. 3 months is a long time.

Great location for Von Braun center event, 2.5 miles. Clean and quiet and good parking and definitely cheaper than downtown, what more do you want?

An excellent place to stay. I’ve stayed here many times and when my family comes into town this is where they stay. Tucked away in a quiet location which is great for people visiting Huntsville on business or pleasure. Especially convenient for anyone who has business on Redstone Arsenal.
