The staff was absolutely delightful but the whole experience just lacked a lot. The buffet breakfast ($10) was less than lackluster. The sausage and eggs were ice cold, no bacon, no water or fruit (oranges but in half in plastic bags). ||The room was sizable and had a nice refrig and working space. A lot of outlets for charging located all around the room. ||The bathroom was clean to the look but had an overwhelming smell of mold. No matter what was done, for two days, the smell remained. ||I was disappointed in that in was not typical for a Hilton Garden Inn.

It was a nice and clean hotel. Stuffs are nice, but none gave us information about services we can get or can't. No complementary breakfast, compared to the per night price, not having complementary breakfast falls really short !!.. overall 3 out of 5.

Positive: Cleanliness, quietness, proximity to Columbus. Quick check-in and friendly. Negative: Advertised amenities are only for Hilton Honors Program guests. The only thing complimentary was bottled water. No info card was present in room explaining checkout procedure, room service, etc.

I read some of the negative reviews before arriving at this property but our family experience here was excellent. We showed on a weekend when Columbus was hosting a world series softball tournament so kids were everywhere. But it was fine. Room was great. Only odd thing was there were no towels in our bathroom, so we had to go to the desk to pick them up. Free coffee, but breakfast costs.

I arrived to check in at 10:15pm. In order to try to avoid a long check-in process, I checked in using my Hilton app. but the digital key didn't work. After checking in and checking the room I noticed a candy wrapper on the floor by the head one of the beds. When I pulled the mattress away from the wall there were Skittles all along the crease where the mattress meets the wall and more candy wrappers! This showed me that the sheets had not been changed. GROSS! I reported this to the clerk at the front desk and she said she could either switch my room or give me a $5 credit off my room rate and I could have housekeeping come in the morning to change the sheets. The alternate room she offered smelled funny so I opted to stay in the room I had. I was also only in the room for one night so there was no need for housekeeping to change them in the morning. I ended up having to totally strip the bed myself and request additional sheets from the front desk. The clerk also gave me a pair of gloves and a trash bag to clean the candy up myself.
I was TOTALLY disappointed in my stay at this Hilton. I'm very surprised as a rewards member because I stay at Hilton's often. I expected my issue would have been relayed to a manager, but there was no mention of it when I checked out.

I arrived in the place on Saturday evening at 8 pm after several hours of driving. Front desk attendance was wearing a tank top (totaly unpropriet, made me feel like motel 6) said their room key system is broken, and I can only get in my room with a hotel employee who has the master key. She tried to convince me that this is a global problem covering all Hilton hotels in the country, when I was staying in two other Hilton Garden Inns the nights before in Cleveland and Pittsburgh and they didn't have such an issue. First, she booked me in the room that was already occupied, I had to go back to the front desk with the hotel employee to get another room. I later went out for dinner, and when I came back, I had to wait literally twenty minutes for the hotel employee (same person like before) with the master key to get inside my room. As soon as I entered my room, I immediately realized one complimentary bottled water was missing, which meant someone had to be in my room while I was out having dinner. The next day, after I checked out and continued with my road trip, I got a phone call around noon from a front desk attendant ( a different employee than the night before), about vacating my room, even though I checked out about three hours before and at the time of the call I was already at least hundred miles away from the hotel. The front desk person thought that I'm still in the room that was originally given to me the night when I arrived and turned out to be already occupied, the system didn't even show that I was given a different room. This hotel is totally unprofessional. Employees are unqualified to work on such a level of hospitality industry without any manners. I was deeply disappointed, not even mentioning that I'm a diamond member, which none of the employees even recognized.

I visit this location at least once a year for over a decade. It’s always been a clean reliable spot however last summer was less than stellar and this summer is not much better. Like last year there were some sort of computer issues with digital key or check in. The AC unit has been quite loud last couple visits. This time I had a first floor room facing the β€œcourtyard” between the La Quinta. Do not have a room there! The La Quinta has lights shining on the building and the makes the room glow through the curtain really bright all night.

Never again.
Paid $50-75/night more than all the other stays on our 2 weeks trip.
Walked in and was impressed, but it ended there. A/C-Heat unit did not work, at all! Had to ask for more sheets just to stay warm. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Other guests in other rooms above us were banging on the walls and stomping on the floor for hours, well past midnight. Then, when we woke and went to enjoy the continental breakfast that we were told about when we checked in, we were handed a bill for the powdered eggs and rubbery bacon!!!
This whole 2 week trip we stayed at places that were $50-75 cheaper per night and all were cleaner, all the room equipment worked properly, beds were way more comfortable and the hotel breakfast was included with the room, and had much much better food!!!!!
To say the least, was utterly and completely disappointed with this place and it has given a huge black-eye to any place associated with Hilton.
No need for a reply. The manager said enough when she said "we didn't pay enough for our room to qualify for the free breakfast."
Just Pathetic!
Absolutely no excuse.
STAY AWAY!
