Dirty hotel rooms beware! I ended up leaving and receiving a refund after 3 consecutive room issues. I discovered mold in the windowsill in the late evening of my original room. I attempted to contact the hotel staff via the phone in the room and the Hilton honors app. Neither worked. I had to go downstairs each time to communicate my situation. The staff changed my room after I informed them of the mold. As I got back to my original room to collect my belongings, maintenance staff was already in which I found odd as my personal possessions were still there. When I got to my new room I immediately checked the sheets and bedding finding hairs within the sheets. I asked for them to change the sheets. Apparently house keeping was gone by this point. They delivered me a new pair of sheets and informed me I would have to change them myself. NOT MY JOB. When I went to change my sheets a roach popped out of the bed which was strike 3 for me. I immediately asked for a refund and needed a new hotel at 11pm at night. This is a HILTON chain! Clearly that means nothing now. The hotel rooms smelled moldy and musty. The lobby facilities were nice just not the room. I feel the front desk staff handled this professionally. I will be filing a corporate complaint with Hilton to follow this review. The biggest joke of all is the “house keeper” leaving a tip card behind with their name on it.

After driving for 3 hours, running into traffic, and then trying to find parking in a packed parking - the last thing you want to hear is the hotel is overbooked. But the first thing you'd want the hear is Devin's voice assuring that you will be accommodated. I have no complaints about my stay. The staff was so hospitable and lighthearted. The rooms were immaculately clean and COMFORTABLE. My goodness, I need that mattress in my room. Thank you again, Devin and staff, for a great week's stay.

When walking in, I was instantly greeted by Krista. She was very much welcoming and went above and beyond to provide me with great service and answered all my questions. |Only negative about this stay is my bathroom drainage was not cleaned. Water levels kept rising in the shower and after I investigated it, I found a lot of hair in the drainage. |But besides that, this hotel was lovely to stay at.

For work reasons, my husband travels every week and at least twice a month I accompany him. His first choice is always the Hilton Hotels and this week on his trip to Columbia NC, was no exception. ||When we entered the hotel room the air conditioning was making such a terrible noise that I really don't know who can sleep like that. They kindly changed our room to one that had a dirty toilet. We were tired so I preferred to clean it myself and take a shower and go to bed. ||The next day when we went to breakfast before my husband went to work we saw an almost empty food area. Only some breads, potatoes, a waffle area with a dirty waffle maker. The employee in the breakfast area kindly told me that if I wanted something else for breakfast I had to go to the Hilton Garden restaurant that was at the end of the hall and that was all the breakfast at Home2 Suites. The worst thing was that I asked for a napkin and she told me that they didn't have any!!! I mean, they don't even have napkins!!! ||At 8:16 they were already removing the food they had available for breakfast and cleaning the area.||The staff are friendly, the hotel overall looked clean except for the toilet, the carpet in the room which is super sticky and the waffle maker. ||My husband is going back to work in Columbus NC next week and Home2 Suites is not going to be an option.

Wow the location of the hotel was great. Some of the service details were definitely lacking. Housekeeping only had one cup to utilize for the Keurig coffee machine. While not a huge deal, I purposefully left that used cup out to utilize again. The staff decided to throw my cup away and not replace it with any cups. They did replenish the creamer, coffee and sugar packets. I had plenty of lids and heat wrappers but no cups. When I mentioned if could get a coffee at the front desk area she said no and told me I could only get it back in the restaurant. I asked why I couldn’t get it at the snack/concession area by the desk. She said it was broken. There were no out of order or broken signs……. We also had very low water pressure in the sink in our room. It had nothing to do with the knobs underneath. I checked. I also was taken back on the parking charge. It was higher than I remember when booking the reservation. While these seem like nit picky items, all in all it left me with a less than desirable experience.

The location is great, very convenient for walking to events. Quick uber ride anywhere. But even from the 6th Floor, we could not sleep with all the traffic, sirens, speeding cars, cars playing music. You can hear EVERYTHING, even from the top floor. And after finally being able to sleep, for some god awful reason the Alarm clock was set for 5:45AM… not set by us… definitely needs to be on the checklist for housekeepers to make sure isn’t set. The A/C didn’t work very well at all, had it set to 63, wouldn’t drop below 70. Beautiful lobby and bar area though.
