When we got to this resort, we walked into the room and there was a very distinct smell coming from the shower drain and filling the whole room. The front desk quickly gave us another room, same floor and ocean view with no questions asked. I’m not sure if it was just being nice or because I’m a diamond member, either way it was a very quick response to something being wrong. The hotel staff was very friendly and the ocean view is once of the best on the island, with a lot of things to do at the resort. A lot of options for breakfast and kid friendly! We had no other problems on our vacation and I am sure we will be back to enjoy the views in this quiet location in the future. Thank you Hilton!

ABSOLUTELY DISPICABLE. Not the Hilton standard. We recently spent spring break weekend here, and the rooms were hot, thermostat read 68°. However, only the fan was blowing. they did change our room, which was a little better but not by much. Also, the first room with the defective A/C was not very clean. My wife had to ask the maid for a rag and wiped the room down herself. It smelled moldy, so I asked her for air freshener and sprayed the room down. The hotel is in need of renovations (old). The staff was great. The location is excellent, and the grounds, superb!!!

It’s usually my go to. As a diamond member im treated very nicely here until my last visit. I received a fake noise complaint to my room while my son and I were sleeping. Rooms are old and need an update. Restaurant was okay. Location is great. Pool and beach are great as well. I would stay again but definitely will be addressing this with a manager upon arrival.

It was fine. I chose this location because I wanted to wake up to watch the sunrise and listen to the waves. I got to experience the gorgeous sunrise, but the pool music stayed on all night and was on in the morning.

The hotel itself could use some updates and renovations, but I would guess most people stay here for the proximity to the beach and ocean - because it's literally steps away from the property.

I am very disappointed in my recent stay at this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel many times when it was a Marriott with no issues. When we arrived to our room, there was a bottle of ginger ale almost empty on the nightstand. We assumed housekeeping left the bottle on accident and didn’t report this to the front desk. Our room was mostly clean so we decided to enjoy the oceanfront view and not worry about it. Towards the end of our stay we had a billing issue and the hotel was at fault. A week later we are still dealing with it with NO resolution. The hotel made the mistake and has continued to give us the run around. When I call I am told that they will escalate the issue and call me back. The hotel has not apologized or attempted to make this right. We are so disappointed in the customer service. The location is amazing and views are perfect. After this unresolved issue we will not stay at this location. We will return to a Marriott hotel with better service.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and had an incredible stay. We didn't want to go home! The property is incredible, the views are amazing and the staff is very hospitable. Look no further than Hilton Beachfront to make your Hilton Head experience a memorable one!

An incredible experience. The “ocean front” room was more like a partial ocean view, but they made up for it with a great dinner restaurant and an incredible indoor pool/hot tub set up with ping pong! Beach access is easy and beautiful. Loved enjoying the winter temps and fog. Also loved using the digital key via Hilton app. Very spacious room and comfy bed, excellent bathroom design. Would definitely stay again.

I had a great time but the pool outside was freezing and nobody was in. I suggest that a water heater should be installed like the indoor pool so people can enjoy it too. Is kind of sad that people pay money for something that can’t use because of temperature issues that the hotel can solve. But overall I enjoyed the experience.
