I understand what it is they are doing and this is not for everyone. IF you get invited to hear them speak understand what they offer is a one time shot... and the price is steep. They are all about a rush job with a lot of scribbling on paper to confuse you. Then you will get the silent treatment and 2 more offers before you leave. Eat before you go too... you will be burning a lot of energy trying to leave here.

SCAM
Just filed a bank claim to try recoup my costs for services and goods not delivered.

Paid the down, monthly and then the annual fee, then the fee to exchange, then a guest fee to save $20 from the hotel's own website. Add up the down of $1000 and $120 monthly and the annual fee of $480, I'm over $2480 for a $320 week in San Diego. And the points I'd used couldn't be cancelled last minute even though I'd bought it within 7 days.
Terrible customer service. Bounced 3-5 times each call between them and RCI. No one wants to help. Closed weekends and evenings. If I'd purchased directly from the hotel, again, I could have called them 24/7. Email asking me to call three days later was the final straw.
Never given my official member number, after more phone calls I received two, neither taken by either company willingly. Never received a deed, title, packet of ownership, etc.
Thought I'd actually invested in time and fun with my children, instead, feel taken advantage of and robbed a real vacation that would have felt worth spending $2100 extra.
My mom has jumped ship too. Needing points to actually use anything, she was up to $1240/mo and $4600/yr in fees plus the fee to buy the actual week. Even with vacationing 1/2 quick getaways if possible each month, they were still not using almost $19,000 in vacations.

Scam!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I did there presentation December 14, 2017, they were offering 2 free airline tickets to anywhere in the country with no black out dates minus Holidays. When I went to book my reservations they charge $150.00 fee that will be reimbursed when you flight is scheduled. Good luck with that, they make you choose 3 different dates and the destination online. When I received no confirmation after 3 weeks, I called and waited 45 minutes for them to tell me there was no availability to New York in March, May or October. NONE of the dates I had chosen are Holidays. I explained that it was stated, no black out dates except holidays and they said it was based on availability. So I then asked what dates were available and they told me they couldn't do that. So now am I not only out my time I am also out $150.00.

We went there for a time share type of presentation. We went in figuring we would not buy, but we like to travel so let's see if this makes sense. They don't call it "time share" now, but I don't know what to call it. Michael and his wife were friendly. Because of the way things were set up with the system now it seemed like something we might be interested in even though there were other reasons I went in thinking I wouldn't be, but we never spend that kind of money without looking into the company and just what we are agreeing to. When we said no to Micheal because we would need to look into it (the truth) he accepted that and quickly ended. Then the "exit manager" saw us. He was insulting, saying we would go against our values for the right price and he wouldn't let up. When we left we gave our thoughts to the woman at the front desk. She says she has heard similar complaints before.

So it seems you are calling me with unsolicited offers. After telling you constantly to not contact me and to be placed on a do not contact list, you repeatedly tried giving me more offers throughout series of weeks. After trying to talk to a supervisor who hung up on me trying to apologize to try and wipe everything under the rug, I am highly disappointed in your knowledge of simple solicitation laws. You also did not inform me that the call was not recorded and is a $25,000 fine in the state of Arizona. I will intend to make sure the FCC contacts you with my current issues. Have a good day.

This company promises you things that it does not to give you. If you intend on going for the free gift don't hold your breath because it is far from free. The cruise we were promised was NOT free. It even costs money to look up which cruises you can go on. While I'm sure their legal department has them covered as they did give us a "free gift", just like santa can give you a free gift of coal. Rubbish. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake.

They lied all the way thru! They promised a Disneyland trip and only will cover $150 and that does not even cover 2 of the 4 they promised and they did not say they would "reimburse" the $150 they promised to give us the money. They also let our kids in with a room smelling like dirty diapers
