We had the absolute best experience with High on the Hog. They catered our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding day—and everything was done to absolute perfection.

The food was hands down the best I’ve ever had at a wedding (and many of our guests said the same!). Every detail was thoughtfully executed, the service was seamless, and the entire team was professional, warm, and incredibly talented.

They made the entire weekend feel effortless and special. If you’re looking for a caterer who will go above and beyond and deliver exceptional food and service, look no further. They are truly the best at what they do.

We’re beyond grateful and would recommend them without hesitation.

HIRE THEM. Holiest of molys we did not know what a treat we were in for when HOTH was recommended to us for our March wedding in Los Olivos. We have had multiple guests tell us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding & it's no exaggeration... Brett and Amber know and LOVE food; which they show both in the selection of local ingredients AND the care they take in cooking. I'm still dreaming about every single thing they served; the homemade labneh! the Santa Maria BBQ! The smokey pinto beans! The BBQ Chicken! even the freaking CARROTS had our mouths watering for weeks. Beyond the food itself, the catering staff was extremely attentive and kind - making us plates to make sure we (the couple) ate at our reception, asking if we needed anything, even helping us clean up the venue afterwards. Start to finish an incredible experience- I wish they had a restaurant, I would eat there every night.

High on the Hog catered our wedding a couple of weeks ago and we could not have been happier with both the quality of the food and the service. My wife and I really wanted to buck the trend of boring wedding food and HotH really delivered. Their offerings were fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared. Since the wedding we've heard many glowing reviews from our guests. We highly recommend them for your wedding or any other similar event.

Thank you, Brett and Amber for catering amazing appetizers, dinner and desserts for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception! Not only was the food fantastic, but communication prior to the event was great, questions were welcomed and suggestions provided. Staffing was friendly and efficient...very attentive to our guests. Attached are photos of the charcuterie table and the cake (made and decorated by Amber).

3/11/23 picked up the 3 course thai meal tonight - delicious! Bright, tangy, spicy, crunchy, herby- definitely enough for 2 adults. We were very sad to only have 2 of Amber’s famous peanut butter cookies- don’t pass on those scrumptious delights!

HoH did an outstanding job for our 65-person house party. All the food items were delicious and we got lots of positive feedback from friends and family about the friendly staff. We hosted a diverse group of people from all over the country and relied on served appetizers, including both raw and roasted oysters, gazpacho shots, and two types of sliders. We also utilized a HoH bartender for serving margaritas and wine. A great success all around!

Absolutely loved the food from High on Hog. Chicken was succulent and the sauce was so good. The couscous had a wonderful flavor with subtle hints of fresh herbs and veggies. Would definitely recommend them.

We recently had the High on the Hog team cater a special occasion dinner for a large group in Santa Ynez and they delivered the most amazing food!! Brett and Amber worked with me to create an amazing menu that would meet our groups tastes, from foodies to the pickiest of eaters. Every item was delicious, beautifully presented and enjoyed by everyone in our group, including the youngest guests. Scott the server was very patient with us as we had various timing needs and the chefs prepared everything within the timeframes we asked. The kitchen was spotless after they left. The dinner made the night very special. We highly recommend Amber, Brett and their team if you are looking for a memorable meal!!
