Because I use the term “Hifalutin” all the time & we drove by this place, I knew we needed to try before leaving. We got there right around dinner time during the week and was asked if we had reservations (which we did not because we didn’t even know about this place til we happened to drive by). Luckily they had room for the 3 (2 adults & 1 teenager) of us. The atmosphere was pretty cool and the service was attentive. Menu (including food & drink) items were plentiful & priced well. Lemon drop was tasty. While waiting, we got some blueberry cornbread muffins - which were delicious. The steak stuffed quesadillas & salsa/sour cream were shareable & very good. The meatloaf sandwich could also be shared - had great flavor. Too stuffed for dessert but had to checkout the menu nonetheless. The reviewer were mixed but we decided to give it a shot and glad we did. You should too

As we travel, finding fun local restaurants is part of our adventures. Tucson has many local fun places to go with great food. We found HiFalutin Rapid Western Grill by driving by the location several times & the outside decore caught are eye, so we finally decided to check it out with some friends. From walking in and seeing the decore and how busy it was, we knew how great it would be. We made a reservation ahead of time (Recommend). And they sat us within 15 minutes of that. The staff was friendly & always checking in on us before we got to our table. Our waitress Francia was Amazing, very prompt & always making sure everything was right without even asking us. We ordered a variety of food & everyone was pleased. Note: The mini Bluberry Muffins we're intoxicating! We highly recommend this restaurant & we will be back in the future. Enjoy!

My husband and I checked out HiFalutin while on staycation. We didn't know what to expect, but it is indeed a hidden gem. The menu is very diverse, and offers something for everyone. Our server was professional, friendly and very good at his craft. All the staff were polite and friendly. We were in the mood for steak, and they did not disappoint. We ordered the prime rib special, and New York strip..both cooked perfectly to our request. The margaritas were also on point, and they have an impressive wine list too. The restaurant itself has a fun Western vibe. If your down Tucson way...give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

We came here on date night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Isabel was very attentive, and took excellent care of us. She recommended the Cedar Plank Fresh Salmon and my husband really enjoyed it. I had the Cattleboss Pot Roast, and the flavor was very good. Our children had the Fiesta Tacos, the children's ribs and the children's spaghetti. We only brought home leftovers because there was so much food. The Mud Pie was delicious, and we had it with ice cream. Definitely recommend.

Under the recommendation of Jessi, an employee was able to experience HiFalutin Rapid Western Grill. Everything was five stars in my opinion. Everyone I had the opportunity to interact with from the hostess to my waitress Isabel was absolutely pleasant. Isabel recommended the special: Surf and turf which was prepared perfectly and absolutely delicious. I also had the Crem Brulee at Jessi’s recommendation which was month watering. I am not too found of sweets but it was not over powering and it was a fantastic conclusion to fantastic meal. Thank you all.

Cute, more local Texas Roadhouse type spot. Menu quite limited, what you'd expect at a similar-to-TR place. Service was attentive and friendly. Food came fast and was fresh with large portions. Prices were slightly higher than you'd expect with this type of location. Good place to take less adventurous parents or grandparents.

Loud and not a friendly place with mediocre food. We could not have a conversation seated between two other tables so close by. Stressful eating atmosphere. Started with a weird muffin as a before dinner bread. Chicken sandwich with avocado was a total disaster. Normally it is served as a chicken breast. This one was very, very thin and dry slice of chicken breast, some lettuce, bacon on a dry bun, because instead of avocado there was a 1/2 teaspoon of avocado smeared onto one side of the roll. Tasteless and dry. Would not recommend. Baked potatoes and steak, was nothing special with veggies most likely boiled from frozen, no flavor. We will not eat there again.

Met some collegues for drinks and dinner last night. I had the General's Pasta (chicken, artichoke hearts, pesto, walnuts, and yum). It was delicious. Some of my colleagues ordered the specials, surf and turf and the prickly pear glazed pork chops - all very happy with their choices. The service was fantastic! Isabelle was incredible.
