Looking for a cute, quiet and well maintained, family own park ? This is it. We are leaving tomorrow after a months stay and loved everything about it. They do have a large green grass area that is available to all its resident's and there are flowers all over the place which the owner replaces when the deer eat them. We preferred to walk our dog down the road as we very seldom saw any vehicles and it gave us the opportunity to meet some of the friendly neighbors. To the gentlemen who wrote the review stating that his 36 foot unit would not fit I say "hog wash". We were in the lot next to him and were surprised how rude he was to the manager....she was right all he had to do was to pull forward a few feet and his slides would have been fine. There are a couple of lots where their patio's face each other so if you don't want to be in that situation simply tell the manager when you make your reservation and I'm sure she will try to accommodate you. Personally we didn't mind our patio's facing someone else as we met a lot of nice people. All in all Hidden Pines is a great park. We appreciated it's cleanliness, friendliness, and its central location to many lakes, rivers and attractions.

We stayed at Hidden Pines for 1 week and had a very pleasant experience! We have a 41 ft Grand Design Momentum and had ample space for our 5 slides! To our surprise we saw deer nearly every day running through the park. But truly were amazed to see 30 or more elk cruising on the parks outskirts! Truly breathtaking! The park has a community fire pit(probably due to fire danger). It has very clean bathrooms, shower facilities, and laundry as well. Not an elegant 5 star resort, but quiet, local, and what a great central location to all of the lakes, trails, and other outdoor attractions. We floated the Deschuets River and saw Paulina Peak; all in very close proximity! We will be back! Thank you so much Hidden Pines.

Wonderfully close to all of the attractions. Not sure who the two reviewers previously dealt with but, the park is exactly what was and is described as. The park is small, but wonderfully manicured with flowers, tall mature trees, green grass, etc. Bathrooms were extremely clean, staff was welcoming and friendly. The RVs in the park were all in good condition and mostly newer. There are a handful of permanent residents, some of whom we made friends with. We will absolutely be staying there again.

We stayed 1week at this clean and nicely kept park! We have a 41 foot , Grand Design Momentum and had no problems with our space! To our surprise during our visit we saw deer run through the park nearly every morning. But the most awesome site were the approximate 30 head of elk that you could catch a glimpse of while you were there! I was unable to catch a picture, because I was not fast enough. This is not a 5 star resort, but it is located in a great place and we felt very comfortable there. Clean grounds, a community fire pit, clean bathrooms and clean washer & dryer facility. We also went to Lake Paulina, floated the Deschuets River and the hiking trails were awesome! We will be back!

We stayed a week here and it was one of the best places we have stayed. We are traveling across the US and left from New Hampshire in February so we have stayed in a lot of RV parks. It is off the beaten path but that's one of the great things about it. QUIET! It is only 25 miles from Bend and an easy drive. Crater Lake is only an hour and a half| The staff was welcoming and friendly, bathrooms were clean and nice. Rena was so nice and helpful, Kodiak the owner was super nice and welcomed us like family.|Would definitely stay here again|Bob and Diane

What a jewel! Their business model caters to long term folks, but they had one vacancy. Huge spot. Super clean laundry. Rena, one of the owners made sure we had everything we needed. The area was having some problems with nitrate runoff in the water. The park is upgrading the filtration system to make sure their guests are ok. Very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend to park.

Was a great little rv park. Manager was very helpful on last minute arrangement and also was very helpful once we arrived. Everything was absolutely clean. The laundry didn't charge us an arm and a leg which was a very nice surprise. My husband had a great experience biking to the river where there was a number of families fishing and stand up paddle boarding on. Great experience.

First I understand different travelers have different expectations, but this has to be the worst park in Central Oregon. It is hard to imagine a more unfriendly, ugly, or uninviting park.

I am greatly puzzled over some of the past reviews saying this is a nice park. I can only surmise that management has changed and this park is not what it once was.

First this park has a website which contains a map and photos. The park is NOT like the on-line photos; including the photos on google too. These are old photos and do not represent what the park looks like now. The grass is all dead, there are no flowers, and items displayed in photos no longer exist. The park appears to not be maintained... So Do not be fooled!

Specific problems are:

1- No staff at park. When you arrive you must call number posted and eventually a "manager" will arrive. No staff on duty to address issues.

2- Trashy appearance.

3- Spaces so narrow that they will not fit large double slide outs.

4- Very unfriendly staff and owner who refuses to resolve problems (read below for details.)

5- Unsecured credit card information! Your credit card number is written on post-it style note with your information and arrival date, and paper-clipped at desk for anyone to possibly take or see. (Office is locked when no one is there, but still a huge concern.)

6- Park is mostly full-time "greatly discounted" monthly guests. This park is NOT geared to weekend travelers.

7- SHARED space outside your RV door. Yes that is correct. You must share your table space with your neighbor (see photo)

8- No room to walk dog or grass area for dogs to do their "business". Again see photo. Even If you want the dead grass area, you must walk your dog directly next to someone else RV.

9- Park is located in LOW INCOME trashy residential area. As in run down single wide mobile home, and cars which do not run, next to park on other side of park fence.

10- also weird is that the only number posted near the phone is the "Sheriff Department" phone number to call when there are problems. (Like trouble is expect it seems... wow!)

I strongly recommend holiday travelers to avoid this park. The State Park is just a few miles up the road. But if you need "budget minded" property with no supervision, then this is your place.

Personal experience at this park follows...

Upon arrival I observed the trashy condition of this park and thought I would just stay one night and move on instead of the 4 days I had planned. They refused to alter reservation to fewer days and stated I would be charged anyway.

However I soon discovered that the spaces were so narrow that it will not accommodate the double slide outs of my RV. I was assured that my 36' 5th wheel, would fit in the reserved space when I made reservations.

I had to walk staff to RV and show them it would not fit. They said that it would fit even though trees clearly blocked the slid-outs. They said that it was okay that branches would rub against RV... but it was not acceptable to me. Central Oregon bark and pine needles rubbing against RV would scratch it.

I was told that they would not refund my money. After an argument in which the owner refused to review the situation, the staff member agreed to do a partial refund of $52 out of the $122 total charge. I did not understand the logic of this amount as I could not stay there even if I wanted to (which I sure didn't at this point.)

In conclusion, this is a horrible park and advise you to sleep along side the road before spending a night at this park..
