We almost made a reservation here based solely on other reviews, so glad we didn't. We drove out to this "resort" to take a look at it during our stay in Ehrenberg at Arizona Oasis RV Resort. The place didn't have an entry gate, it was just open for anyone to drive into, unquestioned (we did). The park is in a serious state of neglect, most of the RVs that were there appeared to have been there for quite some time as there was crap strewn all around them, some had old sheds, and most of the RVs were in a state of disrepair. Grass (yes, there was grass around the sites) was unmown and therefore overgrown, sites didn't appear to be level (a fact that is clearly evident by the lean most of the RVs had), and the "office" looked deserted (mind you, we drove through on a Friday afternoon). Overall, the park looked depressing, the people that we did see eyeballed us as though we were trespassing, and just looked unhappy. I wouldn't recommend this park and was just so thankful that we didn't make a reservation.
Edit: Note the response from the Owner below suggesting that I might work for a "competitor" as if there was even a competition. As a traveler, I call them like I see them, and if a resort doesn't like how they are viewed, perhaps instead of criticizing the reviewer, they should address the things that stand out to a potential customer - you know, like having residents pick up around their RV, leveling their sites, mowing the grass, etc.

Enjoyed the riverfront stay. A very quiet and lovely place. More residential than resort. But would recommend it to anyone that wants peace and quiet.

I stay here every time I am in town working. The staff is the best and the off season is really quiet and peaceful. My kids have a good time swimming in the river and fishing off the docs. Great place.

I got an awesome site right on the river. With full hook ups, laundry and a great little store all for $35, it was a great deal. The place was easy to find and the park easy to navigate with my 60 foot long rig. Also, the gal in the office/store was very nice helpful. She may have been the owner, sorry I didn’t ask your name but thanks for everything. I’ll stay here again and you should give it a try.

This is not a nice rv park. When I reserved I was offered a riverside site which sounded great. It turned out to be right in front of their cafe which had loud music blaring from outdoor speakers all evening. I asked to be moved and they did find me a quieter site but it wasn't well kept and there was a very strong sewer smell at my new site. Park is overall rather run down. I would recommend Good Sam drop it from their list.

Warning: do not let your dogs swim in the water here! It has been confirmed that this particular beach area is the source of a parasite which causes serious illness in dogs. Several dogs from different households were infected by the parasite after swimming in the river in Blythe. One of the 5 dogs died as a result. This particular resort has been named as one of two specific swimming locations where dogs have acquired the parasite. (Scientists are still researching to learn more, but they have confirmed this information).

First time at an rv park. Right on the river was nice. Restrooms were clean and was quiet. Also able to charge truck at our site.

This park was fantastic. Some spaces are overseeing the Colorado River. It has a nice store on site with lots of amenities. Happened to see a item for sale in this park. I was surprised to see it was almost full or was. I would highly recommend this this park. If I hadn't already paid for the winter in Quartzite I would be staying here. If your a snow bird looking for a great place to land for the winter. Make plans and schedule you next visit here. That's what I'm going to do.
