Heritage Inn Snowflake - Snowflake, Arizona

My husband and I went up to Snowflake from Surprise for a weekend stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer! We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in the Coffee Cottage room and brought our two pups. Needless to say, we all had a good time. The decor in the room was so nice, and we really wanted to just take all the furnishings to our own home, especially the Jacuzzi tub! Check in was easy with the info we needed sent to our phone, and we checked out just as easily. The guest lounge was right next door and so helpful with snacks and drinks. I can't wait to stay there again in the future 🙂

We stayed in the main House. It was a very nicely renovated piece of history. A large sitting room greeted us as we entered followed by a spacious dining room. A full-function kitchen with most everything you might need to cook a quick meal in the evening. There was one bedroom on the main floor (Master) with a bathtub. And a large TV room. Follow the narrow staircase up and you found 2 more spacious rooms each with their own bathroom and shower. It looks like a very well kept place, lots of outdoor seating and a very nice yard.

I had a wonderful stay at the Heritage Inn while on my business trip. The property was well maintained and very clean. The cafe had snaks and popcorn you could make yourself while watching movies in your room. I will definitely be staying at the Heritage Inn the next time I'm there in Snowflake.

Great place, loved it and would stay again. The courtyard was enjoyable and the lounge was well stocked. Everything was very clean. The only suggestion I have is that if you prefer a soft pillow, make a special request for it. The pillows were very hard (for me). Check in was very easy, communication very detailed. Enjoyed the area as well.

Lovely, comfortable and so inviting. We needed a place to stay en route to Durango, Co, and the Heritage Inn was perfect. Code accessible doors so we could arrive anytime, and a perfect quick continental breakfast before jumping back on the road.

I think this inn is clearly the better option of places to stay in Snowflake, and definitely an excellent value for the price. The rooms are clean and nicely updated, and the property is beautiful. The Keurig coffee maker in the room plus the guest lounge are great. We had a couple of things that were not great for us personally, and a few things to make note of for other guests.

I am attaching a photo with the location of doors and entries marked on it. We arrived later in the evening, and had a hard time locating the room. It was dark and we were road weary, which didn’t help, and hopefully this might help others in the future.

We were in town for a funeral and thus had clothes that needed to be on hangers. Unfortunately, I did not notice from the pictures of the room (we stayed in the Violet Villa, room 4) that there is no closet or hangers. I improvised with a hanger from the robes in the bathroom, but I just wanted to note this for others.

My significant other and I both found the bed very, very hard and did not sleep well for the three nights of our stay. The mattress is a firm spring mattress and it had toppers on it, and it just did not agree with us. There also was a recalcitrant fitted sheet that did not want to cooperate or stay put.

The A/C unit also was a problem for us. There is a remote control for it, but the unit itself is close to the floor and my sad eyes couldn’t read the functions on it very readily. I also couldn’t find a setting that didn’t turn off and on during the night, which was another disruption to sleep because it is rather loud. I didn’t call for assistance because quite honestly, we were exhausted during this trip and it only occurred to me at night when it was too late to call.

This inn is lovely, and it is unfortunate that we just did not sleep well at all during our stay.

Home built in 1890. Our suite was originally a stable. Coffee room was a granary. Continental breakfast, snacks. Smart TV, large shower. Comfortable space.

I grew up in the area and have always wanted to stay here, I finally talked my husband into a stay-cation for our 6th anniversary, and we enjoyed our stay. The bed & bedding were incredibly soft and comfortable, the room was cute, and we were right next door to the room with the continental breakfast. Its not a "warm" breakfast, but they had plenty of food to fill us up. They also have DVDs you can borrow during your stay. We had our own private bathroom with a jetted tub, but since the tub was so big there wasn't much room for a shower. The tub did have a shower head, but it was kind of awkward showering in it, because nothing around the tub is really shower proof.
