The Heritage House is the perfect place to stay when visiting Opelika or Auburn. The home is absolutely magnificent, the themed rooms are stunning, and the beds are so comfortable. Leif and Dani are the warm, friendly owners. They are the epitome of great hospitality, and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. Breakfasts are delicious. We love to stay here whenever we are in the area!

My stay at The Heritage House was truly exceptional! As my first bed and breakfast experience, I was blown away by the attention to detail and historic charm of this beautiful home. Each room, including my lovely Garden Room, was meticulously designed to reflect the house's rich history. The elegant decor, plush bed, and fresh linens made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast options were outstanding, with a new menu to choose from each day - it felt like having a personal chef! The hosts were warm, attentive, and kind, making our getaway with my husband all the more special. The location was ideal, with easy access to Downtown Opelika and Auburn. Leaving was bittersweet, but I'm already looking forward to returning and making The Heritage House our go-to destination when visiting the area.

Heritage House is an exquisitely restored and furnished southern mansion. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the common areas in the B&B were inviting, charming, and luxurious. The owners left no detail untended to, and the property was very, very clean. If you stay, definitely add breakfast in the morning - it was delicious! I will stay here every time I visit Auburn.

We stayed two nights on an anniversary trip, and the Heritage House was the best experience with lodging that we have had in quite some time. It is certainly our new favorite bed & breakfast. The atmosphere is quiet and classy. The amenities are generous and easy to obtain. The owners are kind, attentive, informative, and very professional. Breakfast is flexible, delicious, and punctual. The rooms are comfortable, clean, secure, beautiful, and romantic. Highly recommended!

Everything was top quality from bedding, breakfast, service, hospitality to name just a few notables. Furnishings provided a warm feeling and accentuated the home’s heritage features beautifully- lots of charm! The host (Leif and Dani) were wonderful and passionate about their business and ensuring your stay was memorable. Location perfect for walking distance to charming downtown establishments. Definitely worth a return trip to Opelika and bring more friends to share in experience- upto 5 bedrooms capability!

We recently had our first stay at the Heritage House. Everything was wonderful! The house was beautiful and our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The host was very gracious. And breakfast was outstanding! We will definitely choose the Heritage House again the next time we visit Opelika!

We had the best time at Heritage House Lodging! I wish we could have stayed longer and next time we are in town will surely stay here again. Love the location, attention to detail, the beds are perfect, and ambiance wonderful! Shrimp and grits are so delicious too! Thank you to Leif and Dani for the amazing stay!

The Heritage House is a jew in Opelika. Our two room suite was absolutely perfect. Our private entry was just great and the hosts, Leaf and Dani were fabulous hosts and prepared and served great breakfasts. My wife and I enjoy sitting on the porch and watching the late afternoons go by, with an adult beverage, and would have enjoyed more comfortable chairs outside our private entrance, but that is just minor suggestion. Our stay was most enjoyable and very comfortable.
