My husband, and I had a wonderful stay at the Herb Garden B&B on the weekend of February 3-5, 2017. The facility is immaculate and the accommodations made us feel right at home. Breakfast was simply great, the perfect blend of healthy and good home cooking. Above all, Chris and Paul went our of their way to make sure our needs were met. Their knowledge of the area and their hospitality set the stage and sustained a weekend of rest and enjoyment for us. We've become a bit "enamored" with Ashtabula County, it's wineries, history, good food, and all there is to do. If you are headed that direction, we can heartily recommend Chris, Paul, and the Herb Garden B&B. Next time, we hope to enroll in one of Chris' cooking classes which will certainly be enjoyable and informative. Deborah Finley

We were looking for a nice BnB not far from Geneva-on-the-Lake Ohio and we happen to find this place accidentally. We were very pleasantly surprised!! Chris and Paul are such kind and gracious hosts that will make you feel right at home! You will also be greeted by their sweet kitty Amelia as well! 🙂 The rooms are extremely very nice and the bed is comfy! The breakfast is delicious and they are very accommodating to what time the serve it to you. Very nice and peaceful country setting! We only got to stay one night, but we will definitely stay there again when we come up to northeast Ohio! 🙂

Herb garden BnB was a great place to stay. Room was warm and comfortable with a comfortable bed. We had a private bath and everything was perfectly clean. Enjoyed sitting and reading/sketching right outside the room in a cozy hallway. Great sitting area downstairs in rocking chairs with view of outdoors. Outdoor seating available in warmer months. Chris and Paul are very friendly and will spend as much or little time chatting as you prefer. Great advice for local activities and restaurants. Traditional breakfasts were great. We had frittata, fruit, tea/coffee, French toast, waffles, bacon, sausage, and omlets and it all tasted amazing. Fresh lemon water delivered to room each evening and cookies waiting in the kitchen. Ashtabula has some activities and interests about 30 minutes away. Not much to do in the town of Jefferson . Local activities not likely to take more than 3 days to complete, at least in March. Would recommend.

My wife and I just returned from a weekend at the Herb Garden B & B, and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the experience. Chris and Paul are sweet hosts and great cooks, and we enjoyed sumptuous meals, including a special dinner they agreed to make for us the night of our arrival. The property is beautiful, their home is lovely and spotless. It would have been easy to abandon our plans for biking and golf, and just stay put on the hammock or one of the sunny porches. We will definitely go back!

Stayed just one night after a day of viewing covered bridges. Our host and hostess were friendly, helpful, and interesting. They provided maps and suggestions for us for later excursions. The house and grounds are beautiful, clean, and neat. The breakfast was fantastic! Chris has top culinary skills and hosts dinner parties as well. We plan to return with friends in the spring.

Just spent a lovely weekend here with my sisters in law. Chris is a fabulous cook, and she and Paul could not have been nicer hosts. The house is spotless, and it is a blissfully quiet and peaceful setting. I greatly admire Chris' energy and passion for her work. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, tranquil getaway.

Warm country hospitality at its best makes this b&b ideal when visiting the area. The hosts were gracious, and kind. We were in the area to visit the barn quilt trail and they had one hanging right outside their barn. The breakfasts were delicious and served at a time that suited us. The room was just perfect and bed very comfortable.

Just spent two wonderful days at the Herb Garden B&B. The place is immaculate, the food was delicious and our hosts, Chris and Paul, could not have been more welcoming. A truly relaxing and enjoyable quick get-away, not too far from home, and very reasonably priced.
